The staff alerted us that it was not safe to leave any valuables in our vehicle overnight due to items being stolen previously. Thank you for the reminder but it meant additional work as we then had to offload all of our items( two planter boxes, packaged dirt 11 bags , several potting plants large and small in size and small tools ..as our destination was the Long Term Care patio at Valleyview AB Health Care Center the following morning.

I want to live here when i retire! These over sized luxury rooms have everything a person could possibly need. From the well stocked kitchenette to the warm and cozy fireplace and the amazing jacuzzi tubs, there's something for everyone to love. The 24 hour front desk staff and free continental breakfast are added bonuses, and all at the fraction of the price of a regular budget motel. You can't go wrong with a room at the long stay!

We weren't in Whitecourt long enough to offer a useful review, but it seems to be a good stopping place on our usual long trips. We often admire the walking trail on the way into town. It reminds me of something from Narnia in the winter!

It is a nice town with friendly people and lots of choices where to eat like Boston Pizza which is our favorite family friendly restaurant. My daughter love and enjoyed the Rotary park river slide as well as the spray park and play park. A great place for picnic, relaxation and spending time with family and friends. We did visit the Hard Luck Canyon which is a short and easy hike, a beautiful hidden nature gem.

It was the perfect stop over on our way to Edmonton for...
It was the perfect stop over on our way to Edmonton for medical purposes from Grande Prairie. It was getting dark and starting to snow by the time we got to Whitecourt. We stayed there on our return trip home after medical treatments. I will recommend the facilities to all friends and family

We spent only three days in Whitecourt but we fell in love with the area. We were looking for a retirement property within Alberta and before we left we put in an offer on a place. We found the town clean and the people super friendly and helpful. We can’t wait to move to the area next month. We’ve heard the fishing here is amazing and we are looking forward to exploring the area.

The kids and I love the rotary park and stop there every time we come through whitecourt. If the weather was nicer we deffinetly would've utilized the lazy river.
Some of the restaraunts had wierd hours, we tried to get into a couple of the buffets and they were either closed (at 2pm) or out of lunch and not serving anymore fresh food until supper time.

Went to Rotary Park. Great spray park and playground. The best was the tubing. Bring your own floaters, better if its bigger. Been there twice already! Stayed in the Cloud 9 inn. It is a newly renovated inn. Looks old infront but when get in the room, it was really nice. Very affordable stay yet the breakfast was superb! We only stayed for 2days and 1 night.
This hotel is a hidden gem, amazing stay! Super friendly ppl that run the hotel, well managed!!
Lovely surprized! Rooms are clean, luv the layout of the room, neat and tidy! Bed super comfortable!! Breakfast was very nicely set up 3 choices , we can order ahead, pick-up and on the way, or just go in the restaurant , make a choice, its prepared right there! great foods!

Exceptional value. Room was clean, newly renovated, and well outfitted. Comfy bed. They had a hot breakfast that we didn't eat--having to watch our waist lines on the road!--but that's an unexpected feature in a budget hotel. Looks a worn and tired on the outside but was fresh and new on inside.
Good clean hotel with lots of workers staying in it. Very convenient there is a gas station and a restaurant and liquor store in walking distance. They do not serve hot breakfast at this time only donuts, yogurts, coffee and tea. on the posting they have "breakfast included".
The Kanata is beautifully maintained. The staff are amazing and helpful. Thank you immensely for allowing us use of your conference room to watch our daughters play in Zones for volleyball. It really beats sitting in our cars streaming it on our phones!
Super clean in terms of the building itself including the room and bathroom and even the hallway and lobby. I would say 2 thumbs up deserves this hotel in terms of maintaining their building.
Facilities spot on, able to park easy and great to be able to have a cooked breakfast at the adjacent restaurant from 0600. Staff in hotel and restaurant were excellent. Very good price.
The room was very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was made fresh not like a usual hotel breakfast. The staff were very friendly and made my family feel comfortable.
Receptionist was extremely nice, the facilities were clean and quiet. I have no complaints, this was a last minute change and the hotel worked out great for us.
