The staff alerted us that it was not safe to leave any valuables in our vehicle overnight due to items being stolen previously. Thank you for the reminder but it meant additional work as we then had to offload all of our items( two planter boxes, packaged dirt 11 bags , several potting plants large and small in size and small tools ..as our destination was the Long Term Care patio at Valleyview AB Health Care Center the following morning.

I want to live here when i retire! These over sized luxury rooms have everything a person could possibly need. From the well stocked kitchenette to the warm and cozy fireplace and the amazing jacuzzi tubs, there's something for everyone to love. The 24 hour front desk staff and free continental breakfast are added bonuses, and all at the fraction of the price of a regular budget motel. You can't go wrong with a room at the long stay!

We weren't in Whitecourt long enough to offer a useful review, but it seems to be a good stopping place on our usual long trips. We often admire the walking trail on the way into town. It reminds me of something from Narnia in the winter!

It is a nice town with friendly people and lots of choices where to eat like Boston Pizza which is our favorite family friendly restaurant. My daughter love and enjoyed the Rotary park river slide as well as the spray park and play park. A great place for picnic, relaxation and spending time with family and friends. We did visit the Hard Luck Canyon which is a short and easy hike, a beautiful hidden nature gem.

It was the perfect stop over on our way to Edmonton for...
It was the perfect stop over on our way to Edmonton for medical purposes from Grande Prairie. It was getting dark and starting to snow by the time we got to Whitecourt. We stayed there on our return trip home after medical treatments. I will recommend the facilities to all friends and family

We spent only three days in Whitecourt but we fell in love with the area. We were looking for a retirement property within Alberta and before we left we put in an offer on a place. We found the town clean and the people super friendly and helpful. We can’t wait to move to the area next month. We’ve heard the fishing here is amazing and we are looking forward to exploring the area.

The kids and I love the rotary park and stop there every time we come through whitecourt. If the weather was nicer we deffinetly would've utilized the lazy river.
Some of the restaraunts had wierd hours, we tried to get into a couple of the buffets and they were either closed (at 2pm) or out of lunch and not serving anymore fresh food until supper time.

Went to Rotary Park. Great spray park and playground. The best was the tubing. Bring your own floaters, better if its bigger. Been there twice already! Stayed in the Cloud 9 inn. It is a newly renovated inn. Looks old infront but when get in the room, it was really nice. Very affordable stay yet the breakfast was superb! We only stayed for 2days and 1 night.
We always select this hotel because of 3 things: cleanliness, staff and location. The young women who work front desk should be commended. They are always cheerful and friendly, never phony or rushed, always ready to help with anything they can. Bathrooms are pristine, hallways immaculate, beds comfortable. And the location - easily accessible from highway but far back enough to be quiet - can’t be beat. As a bonus, the Esso service station right next door has great food!
Great bargain the day of my stay. Staff was willing to help with anything. Extremely friendly and willing to go the extra mile.

Room was smelly & a little tired looking. Book through Booking.com and was quoted $43 for the night, for just me. Ended up paying $73 & when I went to checkout, the price had been altered on the site to the higher rate. I should have changed to another hotel. Older lady on duty was very pleasant
Good clean hotel with lots of workers staying in it. Very convenient there is a gas station and a restaurant and liquor store in walking distance. They do not serve hot breakfast at this time only donuts, yogurts, coffee and tea. on the posting they have "breakfast included".
The Breakfast scrambled eggs were delicious and the attendant/cook was very gracious. The room smelled clean and I did not feel stuffed up in the morning. I would definitely recommend this Hotel to any of my family and friends.
The room was clean and nice. The beds were very firm but once you got used to it they were fine. The AC in the room was one of the best I've ever had in a hotel room. The room was very quiet and the shower was excellent.
Very nice people running the hotel. Fantastic breakfast that starts at 530am so if you're there for work you can still enjoy it. Nice clean updated room. Fast wifi even when hotel is full. Fully recommended
Facilities spot on, able to park easy and great to be able to have a cooked breakfast at the adjacent restaurant from 0600. Staff in hotel and restaurant were excellent. Very good price.

Receptionist was extremely nice, the facilities were clean and quiet. I have no complaints, this was a last minute change and the hotel worked out great for us.
