The room was beautiful and the location was just far enough away from the main drag. The owner was very friendly and they go to great lengths to be environmentally friendly. The breakfast was fresh and filling, always on time. The bedding was extremely comfortable and my fiancé now wants the same mattress for our home. The hammock also was a nice touch.

Location is amazing, all facilities are clean and quite close. Loved the clear sky view as there's almost no light pollution. Recommend as a great get away for the couple or cozy family trip. You may meet ginger cat wandering around the campsite. The Grotto (book in advance) and Tobermory is easily accessable from the campsite.

Some highlights of our week include The Grotto and The Sunset cruise. If you are not used to hiking, the Grotto can make you wish you were a mountain goat. I was determined to swim in the Grotto Cave so I found another option ...swimming. It is a surreal moment to say the least. The sunset cruise passes all the beauty of Georgian Bay rock formations with a breathtaking sunset as a backdrop. Great way to see Tobermory and end your day.

Very beautiful area, There is a lot of activity, but the main area has become even more touristy than it used to be, Even that can't take away from the awesome views and spectacular natural setting. The restaurants tend to have bar food, and there is no find dining we could find.

A limited number of attractions and dining options given the distance you need to drive to get there (we drove 4 hours). Zero night life. Good if you bring your own kayaks and bikes and love cold water swims (you could rent these ). I saw some preparing to go night diving which could be a good option for some as day time there are too many boats at the closest ship wreck sites. I thought the Flower pot would be bigger!

Breathtaking views of the Georgian Bay.

Breathtaking views of the Georgian Bay. The Grotto is a must; The cruise was cancelled because of inclement weather. Plan to revisit next year as I learned belatedly that the cruises tend to get canceled during the fall season.

The grotto and Flower Pot Island were so beautiful.

The grotto and Flower Pot Island were so beautiful. The snorkelling was fantastic. When you go to Flower Pot Island bring food, drinks and a bathing suit. The swimming is awesome! The parking has to be booked in advance (which we did). You need to read the fine print though. You must be at the lot within the first two hours of your reservation or you forfeit your spot. If you need to cancel a reservation, it must be done two days in advance.

    1. It is impossible to reach you by phone.

    1. It is impossible to reach you by phone. I tried several times and left messages - no reply. The only people that answer are the ones attending the boat cruses. They transfer the phone to you without avail. 2. The building we stayed in made an annoying noise all night long. Was hard to sleep. We asked others and they experienced the same annoying noise, 3. The room had no AC. We kept the windows in the back and front open to get a draft. It finally cooled down at about 2AM. 4. You asked about breakfast in the survey we filled out. Were we entitled for that breakfast, and if where was it?

I liked the location which is really close to Tobermory Downtown and there is also a Foodland in front of the Motel. Also, the staff was always ready to attend our concerns.
