The hotel location across the Columbia Icefields was perfect for our Icefields Parkway day following Jasper! The rooms are new, well maintained and clean. We had a room with glacier view! They also do an early evening reception in the lobby with drinks and canapés for guests. We had a lovely dinner at the Altitude restaurant and had great lunch at the cafe too. There are only 32 rooms in the lodge, we were very lucky to have booked one. It’s the best accommodation in the Icefields Parkway by far!
The room was picture perfect, exactly like the photos with beautiful decorating and everything you could need. We had a stunning view of the glaciers and all the furniture was so comfortable. The location is quite literally unbeatable by about 100 miles - there is nothing else in the vicinity! You'd have to drive over an hour in either direction to reach something else. The hotel also had the tastiest water I've ever drank due to the glaciers, and an amazing tea selection.
Lovely Nordic style hotel, feels very new & very clean. Rooms are lovely & seem very spacious with their high ceilings. The comfy & relaxing Guest lounge over looks the glaciers, and the view is stunning. It has complimentary tea & coffee, plus a generous charcuterie food & drink reception each evening.
The hotels glacier location is lovely & quiet once the coach day trippers have gone home for the day. It’s also an excellent location for clear skies & star gazing !
The location is absolutely gorgeous. The views are stunning and it makes perfect sense to book here for the Rockies trip as this location sits between Banff and Jasper - right at the centre!! The toiletries provided are of top notch quality as well as the linen provided. We requested for an extra crib that was provided just perfect - my toddler loved it <3 We would love to go back to this place again and highly recommend it

The staff, especially the two girls who dealt with us were beyond amazing given the huge issues the hotel faced these women were able to really accomodate and assist us and the other guests with issues around TV not working and no hot water.

Direct view of the Athabasca glacier from the room. They also provided the discounted price and kind of private excursions for ice field and skywalk. For Icefield, we were the first tour, and Skywalk the last one, so they were not many people. We also could walk to the toe of the Athabasca glacier The bread pudding in the hotel restaurant was awesome.
Pretty comfortable. The room and bathrrom was big enough. Spectacular views to the glacier. They serve complementary delicatessen and cheese boards in the common area for the guests. There is only one restaurant in the hotel (and in the surroundings) and it is pretty good considering you are in the middle of nowhere.
What a location, what a view!!! Need to be seen to be believed. Room sizes were exceptional as we had booked a loft as well.. Very comfortable beds as well . But let me say this again, the location of this hotel is just wow!!!!
This glorious location is outstanding & in the middle of nowhere. Don't expect 5* management as staff are all young, living by the hotel and absolutely lovely but it's all a bit chaotic. If you're veggie -skip the breakfast!
What an amazing view and a beautiful spacious room and hotelentree! Overall the personnel was friendly and well informed. The little afternoon snacks were wonderful and the possibility to always get tea or coffee was nice.
The location of the hotel is great. Right in front of the glacier. The reception area has the best view of the hotel. The rooms are simple, but comfortable enough for a short stay. The hotel has free parking for guests.
Beautiful place close to Columbia icefield at 2000 m. Fantastic room with nice bathroom. Good beds. From the lobby and the restaurant view on the glacier. 2km walk from the hotel to food of the glacier.
