We spend a night here on the way from Drumheller to Calgary. Hotel is conveniently located close to the highway. As we had a room facing away from the highway, it was very quiet.
The breakfast is really amazing for Canadian and even more for American standards: lots of fresh fruits, warm dishes, pastries, yoghurt etc.

This was our second stay at this motel, arrived at10 at night and left by 8 the next morning. Basic budget accommodation, comfortable bed and the usual North American breakfast.
Just 30 minutes’ drive from Calgary International Airport, this ranch features on-site horse riding as well as spa services. Rooms are equipped with free Wi-Fi.

Local amenities were the same as everywhere and convenient. The kids loved the pool at the hotel and the concierge was friendly to them in greetings. The local Station Restaurant & Pub was great at accommodating us when we were a large group at the last minute for lunch. Great food! Definitely would go back there for another meal. There were a couple other places in town, we didn’t have time for in our schedule but we will be back!

The pool facilities are terrific and there are wonderful walking/running trails.
Humpty's new menu is terrific - something for every taste. The King Palace Chinese Restaurant in the old Co-op downtown is amazing.

This place is very family friendly and lobby is inviting and attractive.
There is a pool with decent sized slide and hot tub near pool was great feature. We thought the breakfast was excellent and hours of operation 7 am - 10 am was appreciated. Food staff work really hard at keeping everything clean and replenishing food items when needed. Reception is excellent and again great staff, work hard to satisfy customers - very approachable. Lots of parking. A small fitness room is available. Good restaurants steps away. Beds comfortable, room was very clean and had a sitting area with couch. There was a microwave, bar fridge, coffee capsule machine, iron, lots of space in closet for hanging clothes. Bathroom well supplied with bath towels, hand towels face clothes. Shower and tub combo with regulator for temperature control. Ample toiletries in bathroom. Large screen cable LG TV. Air conditioning was controlled remotely and was a little on cool side for us. ( We recommend the StationHouse Restaurant nearby - price point is a little higher than others but food is very tasty and historic decor an attractor.

Strathmore has grown up since I left almost 10 years ago.
Strathmore has grown up since I left almost 10 years ago. Compared to Vancouver Island the rents and property prices are affordable, which is good news for young families. It has a swimming pool, library, lots of schools and nice walking trails and just a 30-40 minute drive from the city of Calgary. Oh, and did I mention, Strathmore still has a small movie theatre.
My stay with Travelodge was simply superb. Starting from check-in to check-out everything was smooth and hassle-free. The hotel was super clean, comfortable and the staff were friendly, smiling and welcoming.
They served a load of complementary buffet breakfast with numerous options. Wifi was good. They also have a pool and gym area. I didn't get a chance to enjoy those but all looked well maintained.
My first experience with them was brilliant and I would definitely recommend this hotel for your stay in Strathmore.
Absolutely nothing beds and bedding looked like they were slept in . Room did not have a clean appearance. Unwelcoming appearance . The curtains hung in the middle of the rod. absolutely zero upgrades . Very dark and dingy room didn't smell clean. This Hotel is not very well maintained inside or out. We would not ever consider returning.
The property has an excellent location just off the highway with all the amenities a hotel needs both inside and surrounding it. It makes for a solid overall decision on your hotel while staying in Strathmore. Worth staying at, and we have already returned.
Staff were pleasant and helpful, took extra step of printing document for us as business centre had no printer. Hotel, although full, was very quiet and bed was extremely comfortable - had a great sleep.
Comfortable and spacious room, good value, good pool and hot tub + one of the few hotels around to offer a hot buffet breakfast following the end of Covid restrictions in Alberta on July 1, 2021.
The hotel was dumper than I usually stay in but it was fine for one night. Staff were good but there were people hanging around that were on drugs. I was nervous and did not feel safe
It was the only hotel room available in all the Strathmore. We weren't expecting much but it actually was better than we thought it would be for the price.
