No breakfast available. Was there for three nights, never cleaned our room or no fresh towels . No facecloths. No soap . Flashlight lights outside our window. Front desk didn’t speak English. Will never stay there again. Oh no hot water for shower a couple of times.

A budget friendly motel close to amenities. Just a short drive to Southhampton Beach or Port Elgin. King sized bed was very comfortable, as were the linens and bedspread. There is a cafe/bistro right across the street, however we didn't really notice it until we were leaving. :( Lots of toiletries were provided. We would certainly book it again. For $89.00 for the night as compared to nearby chain hotels charging up into the $200's, it provided everything that we needed and we have no complaints.

Southhampton is a beautiful beachfront town with lots of restaurant choices. The Saugeen rivermouth is here and is popular with fishers and kayakers.
Dinner was a green chicken curry at a Thai restaurant down the street and breakfast was Tim Horton's - both within walking distance.
Nex time I would NOT stay at the Manor Motel.

One of the best little towns Ontario has. Great place to relax and enjoy the beach which is very clean and the water was very beautiful. Make sure you check out Southampton market and all the restaurants and ice cream shops in town.
Everyone you meet is very friendly and it has a great summer holiday atmosphere .

My husband loves Southhampton as he had summer vacations there. I love it because of the Sunsets, the Friday before sunset the Bagpiper plays at the Flag pole on the main street on the beach. Car show on thursday afternoons - Not sure with Covid!
We usually have the Caesar Salad and Lasagna at The Walker House like homemade meals. Or go into Port Elgin for the Allans Fireside Grill - more like Pub and homemade meals - very good!
For Breakfast there is the Lighthouse or just out of town Momma, or we prefer the other side of Port Elgin - Aunt Mabels - Yummy Omelettes!
You can walk everywhere in Southhampton - The Offsfore bakery is great! The stores are mainly women clothes, but a lovely main street to walk on and parking is usually good. Yummy ice cream and a good Convenience store!LCBO and a neat meat and cheese store behind Walker House!

The place is close to the beach 5-10 mins Southampton and 15-20 mins Port Elgin, roughly 45 mins to Sauble Beach. We stayed in their family room, decent bed with tv(netflix, youtube, local) microwave, kettle and small fridge which you will not see in this kind of motel. Complete toiletries with cups which I like not that we did not bring anything. I would understand why there is no hooks to hang wet clothes or towels since most people stays to doze off but it would be a nice addition for people going to the beach.

Only 2-3mins to the Southampton Beach, the beach beautiful, the sunset at 8-9pm, It was very awesome, nice walking around feeling so good.
1 mins to the Tim Horton, 2-3 mins to the Town many shops and restaurants.

The owner and the staff in the hotel is extremely friendly. Covid-19 pandemic has created many difficulties to travelers and hotel. However, the hotel tried to overcome the difficulties & provide the best services they can. Hotel is very clean and quiet at night.
The hotel is very close to Sauble Beach & Sauble Falls. About one hour drive to Tobermory.
location was great - close to the Main Street in Southampton. We had a family room, so the second closed room was great. the beds were fairly comfortable and it was quiet so got a good nights rest. Netflix was available so that was good. individual air conditioning which worked well. The staff were very nice and quick check-in process.
Extremely expensive and even tho hotel looked like they had only 3 other people staying there - they booked is into a room with thin walls and we heard guy snoring all night and than woke in morning to their 2 kids screaming crying and kicking our wall.
Breakfast options were plenty and sufficient. Inn's location is great. A great sunset view point, Scubby's Point Park is located 3 minutes away in driving. Rooms are clean, and most of all useful amenities were available in the room.
It's a good value for the money. The motel I stayed at for decades in Southampton has priced themselves right out of my league now. I'm not looking for anything too fancy when I travel, just convenience more than anything else.
An older facility with new owners, I believe, who are upgrading and trying very hard to please. It is not "the Ritz" but it didn't cost $ 500.00 / night either. For a couple nights in Southampton area it is just fine.
Bed was comfy. Quiet location. Handy location to Southampton and beaches. Linens and towels clean as was room, but did not feel comfortable in this closed off small room!!
