The staff, especially the gentleman taking care of the breakfast, were friendly and efficient. Breakfast was basic but had enough choices for a quick, continental type meal. With this option it made the cost more reasonable.
The room was clean. They tried to give a variety of pillow types. (A couple were lumpy, though.) Good for a night stopover. A solid rating of 7.

Cute little place, with apparent renos to the room that added to the charm. Fridge was helpful. We used the a/c unit, which was effective.

6th stop of our road trip from Calgary to Vancouver, we spent 2 nights at Woodland Cabins Micro Resort.
What we liked:
+ By far the best welcome we received on our trip
+ Beautiful, well-equipped room with very comfortable bedding and a large bay window
+ The common areas in the main residence were spacious and perfectly equipped
+ Enjoyable jacuzzi in the middle of the property
+ Excellent dinner at Finz Bar and Grill, with a stunning sunset view over the lake
+ Possibility to spend the evening around a campfire on the property (though we didn’t do this)

Just passing through on our trip from Victoria to Calgary, so no real sightseeing or other recreational activities. As we came in rather late, we just had a quick meal at Tim Hortons (so-so quality) and went to our room. Sicamous itself seems like a quaint peaceful town.

Sicamous is a lovely town in any season.
Sicamous is a lovely town in any season. Whether for the lake and camping in the warmer months, or the sledding and hot pools in the winter, Sicamous is a little gem with something to do for everyone.

I appreciated they had actual breakfast not bagged stuff we didn't want to eat. I was grateful to have a ground-floor room as we had to repack our car. Only lacked in quietness but that was guests above us and their dog not really hotels fault.

We were going to stay at the Super 8 but it was trashy, then found the Paradise motel, and what a gem. It’s spotless, quiet, old school. I wish they made motels like this still. Sat outside all evening. Great music by the pool. Owner is great. Sicamous is a great spot.
Booked by hotel. Com and their site was POOR. It did not give me a confirmation for 1/2 her so I called and they said there was none under my name so I tried again and it went through. I got there and the owner said he had two confirmations
When I explained what happened he cancelled one and handled the dealing with the agency. For my troubles he upgraded me to a suite. Very pleased with his understanding. I will book direct next time and get better service with less aggravation.
A clean, family run little motel. Pet friendly and did not charge extra for our dog. There is an off leash dog park just over the river. Our unit actually had two rooms.
There are some pretty dodgy dives on the TransCanada Highway. This is not one. Older but well maintained, honest, clean, welcoming place.
Warm and friendly hotel staff, spacious room and parking lot, well-equipped facilities in the room.clean and hygienic, with sufficient water in the shower, rich variety of breakfast.excellent hotel location.
Second stay. Prices have gone up since it's summer, but still highly recommended.
location is definitely the huge plus, and price for value was nice so we knew we weren’t getting 4 or 5 stars. restaurant right beside hotel and access to waterfront.
room seemed clean enough and staff at the front desk was very nice.
Hotel is in good location,, easy to find.
Front desk staff was helpful and friendly. Room was clean and spacious and had good views of mountains.
Breakfast room was crowded in the morning but had good selection of food.
The location was easy to access, the young men who managed the front desk were pleasant, property was large and parking was good, bathrooms were clean. it is pet friendly, and that is why we chose it.
This was my first overnight stay in Sicamous, great location, clean room, AC worked very well, on top of all that, the owner Chris was super friendly and helpful, I will definitely come back 😄
It was easy to find. The bed was comfortable and it was quiet. i find many motels and hotels noisy. I liked the feel of the place generally and would stay again.
