Clean place to stay, and was very quiet. Close to everything we needed. It's a basic motel but was comfortable for us.

The room was exceptionally clean and fresh... even the carpet in the room was really clean. The hotel was a short walk from the Stratford Festival, and the Stratford Country Club where we played 9 holes of golf that we really enjoyed.
The restaurant in the hotel has pretty good food, and the price is reasonable. We didn't get a chance to visit the pool, so I can't comment on that unfortunately. We had a great stay!

The location was perfect, walking distance to the theatres and great restaurants. The staff was super helpful, they found a secure spot for us to store our bikes overnight.

It’s an older (perhaps built in 1970s) 2-floor property in a very small town along the highway between Kitchener And Stratford Ontario. As such their check in desk is stated to close at 11 pm so it is not suitable for people arriving late. The property is kept very clean and it provides good basic accommodations about 15 minutes drive from Stratford.

Clean, comfortable and friendly inn.
Clean, comfortable and friendly inn. We used it as a base to go to Stratford, Kitchener and St. Jacob's. The town of Shakespeare is small so you will want a car to get to bigger centres. Highly recommend if you are looking for cheap and cheerful (and clean!)

The Shakespeare Inn delivers a comfortable stay for what you pay. Beware that the continental breakfast advertised was not available. You have to go to Stratford for breakfast. Nothing available in Shakespeare except a wonderful ice cream store and a pie store. They do have a brewery but it was not open all weekend.

We have a daughter and family in Shakespeare, and son and family in Stratford that we visit regularly. We ate this time at Felinis in Stratford and it was wonderful. We will not stay at the Shakespeare Inn again.
I have stayed here at least 3 times and always leave happy. The staff are friendly and helpful. I enjoy the self serv coffee (and Dad’s cookies) breakfast they offer. It is always clean and well kept. Anytime I have had a small issue the desk answers prompt. A great location for anyone visiting a Waterloo student from out of town. Only 30 min from Waterloo. Rates are a plus too! Thank you Shakespeare Inn!
The staff was great, the rooms were very clean and comfortable. This is a small inn (motel really) and is bare bones as far as amenities, but we were very happy. Had two great nights sleep and I never sleep well in hotels.
