- Very clean. Pet friendly.
- Medium bar fridge and microwave in room.
- Air conditioning worked well in serious heatwave.
- Wall mounted TV had HDMI plug for our own streaming stick. Wi-Fi worked well.
- Better configuration of electrical plugs than most hotels we've stayed in.
- Very comfortable for multi-night stay two years in a row.
- Four sets of towels and cloths in the bathroom meant we didn't need to bother with housekeeping. - Really appreciate the ground for rooms with exterior door and parking in front of suite.
- Convenient location off the highway north of Saint John with gas and groceries close by.

We loved the quiet.
It was a short drive to a park by the river.
There were quite a few restaurants near by, all of them good.
Our motel was on one of the main streets so it was easy to get to things. Many we could walk to.

Although both trips to Rothesay this summer were complicated by traffic work in the local area, I would still rather stay in Rothesay when doing business in Saint John. Without construction slow downs the trip is only a few minutes away and I like being out of the city. Besides, the area is very beautiful, whatever the season.
Clean, quiet, excellent value. Kevin the owner accommodated our last-minute request to stay an extra week in an updated cabin at no extra cost. He responded promptly to our request for a couple of extra bowls and a toaster. The motel is located in the heart of Rothesay and within walking distance of many amenities. What a great find...will stay there again. Highly recommended!
Location is excellent for Rothesay/Hampton very near stores & restaurants, but also close to St John. Cabin is pretty basic but adequate - very clean, good bed, friendly courteous staff. Fridge, microwave, air-conditioner (no coffee). Good value for low cost if you need a place to stay for a quick layover, I would find it a little small for longer stay. Would recommend

This felt like a home away from home in addition to the services you would get from an amazing hotel. Breakfast was fantastic. The trip here was full of problem after problem with the airline, but that scrumptious meal in the lovely room made everything better again.
Well kept property, convenient parking, friendly service, spacious room with large en-suite, tastefully appointed, sweet and welcoming dog! the owners have done a wonderful job of refinishing this lovely old inn. And the breakfast was top notch!
The breakfast was healthy, fresh and excellent. It would have been nice to have more of a variety of breakfast items though over our 4 days. The service was impeccable. The view from our room (2) was nice. The town landscape was beautiful.
Lovely room with sufficient casual seating for 2 along with a small desk to set up the laptop. The complimentary breakfast was excellent. They also have an excellent dining room but we chose to eat dinner elsewhere.
The location of this motel was terrific - Rothesay is a quiet town. The motel was located close enough to several restaurants that we could walk. The room was spacious and there was a luggage rack.
Comfortable room in a well refurbished heritage house. Rothesay is a beautiful, heavily treed suburb of Saint John.
There is an outstanding restaurant on site with an interesting menu.
The rooms were very clean and well appointed. The owner and staff were very friendly and helpful. The location was perfect for our needs! I would highly recommend the Rothesay Motel.
Beautiful home and area. The restaurant was fantastic. The beds were the most comfortable I've experienced in travelling. The staff work in the restaurant and are generous and kind.
