We found Quathiaski Cove was an excellent location for our visit to Quadra Island. It is located very near the terminal for the Campbell River ferry although the ferry and traffic did not produce any noise -- no boat whistle and we were not close enough to be affected by the small amount of ferry traffic. The view of cove and mountains was fabulous and there was always interesting activity on the water. We saw eagles and deer from our room. There is a little fish and chip shop and a coffee kiosk at the dock. A restaurant is presently being built right next to the resort. The little village is within walking distance and on Saturdays a Farmer's Market is held at the village. We noticed that other accommodation on the island was isolated and one would be required to use their car constantly. High Point Resort has a lovely swimming pool.

Quathiaski Cove itself is basically the ferry terminal with a couple of coffee shop/food places. Quadra Island is a nature destination. We took a zodiak tour with Reuben of Wild Water Adventures and thoroughly enjoyed it.

It's a small island, so the restaurant choices are limited. We liked the locals pub at Heriot Bay Inn. Also Tsa-Kwa-Luten Lodge is lovely for lodging or dining, and there's a hiking trail into the woods and along the bluff there

This is a great get away resort to stay when you want to chill out. The views from all the rooms are splendid, we did a lot of daydreaming while we watched the marine traffic go about their leisure. Cape Mudge Village is nearby. It is unique and any kid growing up there would be in a special paradise. The Nuyumbalees Cultural Center was an amazing treasure, so informative. Everything on Quadra Island is close by, just get on your bike or in your car and explore.

It's not often you regret not booking more time when you first walk through the door of a place, but I did! From the beautiful architecture, to fabulous indigenous art, warm and friendly hospitality, there is simply nothing to fault. We had breakfast the next day with friends who came from their place on the Island, and we were very happy with our meals. The beds are the most comfortable I've slept in (in a hotel)
Beautifully located at the foot of the ferry terminal with views of Quathiaski cove. The ferry, which connects Quadra Island with down town Campbell River, runs frequently and is a short 10 minute ride across the straight. It can be taken as a foot passenger for a nominal cost. On the Campbell River side there are a number of popular eating venues within walking distance.
During our stay it was obvious the place was about to close down for the season…I knew there would be no cleaning service..no problem, however, the hotel and its amenities should not be so pricey…even to the kind of TP they use…won’t be going there again, but it was an OK experience.
I loved this hotel and will 100% return on my next visit to Quadra Island. View from our room was beautiful. Comfy beds. Little kitchenette was very convenient. The pool was a nice bonus! Hotel is 2mins from ferry terminal.
The view from our room was fantastic. Had dinner at the restaurant and it was definitely 5*. The staff was very friendly and was more than accommodating. Hotel overall was better than expected and I will definitely be back.
Design of the hotel is open and inviting and spacious. Room size was reasonable. The two main courses we had for dinner were top notch living up to cost and expectation. Check-in/check-out staff were friendly and helpful.
This is one of our top off-the-grid vacation spots. Nothing compares, even 5 star hotels have their issues. I you just want to get away to the great island and relax too; then this is it. It's on our list to visit again.
Separate cabins for two parties at max each in one lodge. Great nature is surrounding the whole hotel and allows watching wildlife like seals, dolphins, bald eagles and snakes.
The breakfast box is the biggest weakness. However, the location is just stunning and the hotel is clearly trying to offer diligent service despite being understaffed.
