A gem in the Southern Gulf Island, Pender Island has the perfect balance between nature, serenity, stunning views, hiking and kayaking opportunities and a bit of a village centre feel with quaint shops, a great coffee place and bakery called Vanilla Leaf and a few restaurants. I definitely recommend visiting Pender Island, especially in the summer months.
