Best apartment we stayed in. Very modern, spacious and clean. Despite having no view, it was a light and airy. It was great to have 3 proper separate bedrooms. Ni windows in the bedroom was no issue at all as the rooms were plush and all beds were extremely comfortable. Very modern open plan kitchen and sofa area. L-shaped sofa very comfortable. Location was great. Short stroll to the waterfront and to an eclectic selection of suburban shops nearby.

Good location - simply stunning views from room and restaurant. Staff very nice and special mention to Jack who welcomed us on arrival and who we saw had to deal with a very drunk and abusive diner during our stay - which he dealt with in a very patient and professional manner. The restaurant contrary to other reviews on TA we had seen was just great - good food, excellent service and really no complaints. Perhaps in high season it's different as it has many covers but we were very pleased.

The fact that the Hotel had rooms facing the ocean is a plus! Quiet area around the hotel and close to the highway for scenic drives. Easy access to many restaurants and the centre of the small city. Access to Coombs which is a small centre with unique sites. Close to Qualicum which also has beach frontage and a wide selection of choices for dining.

Nice little town, close to the Sea Edge Motel. They seem to have everything: fast food, great grocery stores, Dollar Store, Home Hardware, pubs, Mini Golf, nice restaurants and plenty to see in the area like Cameron Lake, Cathedral Grove, Qualicum Beach, and Coombs Market where the goats are on the roof!

Parksville is central to going up to the Comox Valley, or down towards Nanaimo, various golf courses, and beaches both in Parksville and up and down the island. If you are into the Artisan scene, there are so many spots to check out in Parksville and surrounding areas. If you enjoy nature walks there are many in this area.

Excellent place for families with young children.

Excellent place for families with young children. The beach is fantastic for finding shells and crabs, with loads of small tide pools. Swimming is the best in warm water. The community park is excellent area for children, with a water park beside it. Ample parking too.

Our hostess Anneke was a delight ! The wooded property just a few minutes from Errington/Parksville with a beautiful country home. We enjoyed a lovely reception of coffee and homemade pastries and our room was clean and comfortable. We relaxed and sat on the porch watching hummingbirds, rabbits, and other birds. Comfortable nights sleep and then treated to a delicious breakfast each day. Anneke gave some great ideas to do during the day including visiting / hiking Englishman river falls. Highly recommend !!

The room was great, although the air conditioning was quite noisy. We didn’t arrive until about 6.30pm, as we had come on the ferry from the mainland, & the lady at reception had tried to ring us to check we were ok. Travelling with a New Zealand phone meant we didn’t have it turned on. She recommended the restaurant next door, for dinner, & we highly recommend it to future travellers who stay in Parksville.

Cute hotel perfectly.situated for us to use the Lasqueti ferry terminal the next day. Ritchie was super pleasant at check in. We had dinner at the restaurant right next door and their seafood pasta was super tasty. Too bad we didn't get to enjoy the minigolf across the street. Next time. Beds were comfy. Shower was hot. Would stay again :)

Breakfast is always good. The personnel were kind, and the hotel maids were terrific. The room was clean and well-organized. We have been going to the Travelodge for the past 15 years and have always had a good experience. We must say that nowadays, the cleanliness and maintenance standards in certain areas are deficient.

Our stay exceeded my expectations. The room was clean, nicely renovated and had an amazing sea view. We also enjoyed multiple rounds of free mini golf which was included with our stay. The location is a short walk along the boardwalk to Parksville beach. This was a perfect overnight stop on our way to Tofino!

I loved everything, it's one of my favorite places to stay at in Parksville. So much to do. Can rent canoes, paddle boards, kayaks, and bikes. Have the hot tubs & indoor pool. I seen other reviews saying the rooms are paper thin for sound but it didn't bother us at all.

The facilities for in house cooking were excellent, however, there was no information for restaurants in Parksville or Qualicum Beach which if you are a tourist new to the area would have been very helpful instead of having to drive around and search.........
