The loaction Dates. but has great, pool and gym for a basic hotel... rooms are basic and dated but comfortable and a good for a basic hotel.

A touch of nostalgia: central refurbished mid-twentieth century hotel/motel at the edge of downtown Parry Sound. Large room! Comfortable bed with firm mattress.

Breakfast was fantastic, lady who was working at it was the loveliest person ever!

The front desk staff was very kind, knowledgeable, and welcoming. The breakfast was above average for a continental, even if there were only three tables to sit at. It was busy when we arrived in the morning so we had a coffee and came back a half hour later to eat. The location is Central to everything in Parry Sound and there was plenty of parking. For us, it was a perfect spot. I really appreciated being able to park right outside my room. I would happily stay here again.

Greeting by Jeff was very positive and efficient! The property has a cozy B’n’B feel with antiques, historical photos, and other objects related to the history of Parry Sound and the surrounding area! The creeks in the floorboards let you know you are in a property that has a homey feel to it! The room was large and the bed was extremely comfortable! Although the bathroom was a tiny cramped but I managed to adapt quickly to the environment. You cannot beat the next morning breakfast at the Bayside Inn, no other property can compare to the service that was provided for the guests!

The location and the property itself are outstanding. The property opens out at the back into an inlet of the lake. There is a rowboat at the property. We went out a few times in the early mornings and after dinner and enjoyed the calm waters in the simmering moonlight. It was the highlight of the trip! The property itself is spacious and large enough to accommodate six people.

The location is lovely; nice view of the beautiful lake. Our room was right on the water. It was quiet (but might be because it was pre-season), but it was nice for sleeping. The room was, large clean and well-appointed. While it wasn’t spanking new, there was a small kitchenette, fridge, toaster, corkscrew, coffee maker, coffee, tea, full dish set, dish soap, microwave, kettle, dustpan/broom, hairdryer, dishcloth, plenty of facecloths, towels, shampoo, conditioner, mouthwash, soap, extra toilet paper. There was a small seating area next to the kitchenette with a high-top table and 3 chairs, a small sofa, an armchair, a smart tv, wifi, a DVD player, A/C & heating. The couch was a double pull-out there were extra pillows and blanket in the closet. The bedroom was spacious had a large bed, dresser, 2 nightstands with lamps and a rocking chair. There were also a couple of closets with 2 robes in it on. The bathroom was large and clean with a deep tub/shower and wide counter and bright lighting. There was a screened-in front mudroom type area, and a small front deck with a small cafe set on it as well as 3 Muskoka chairs a few meters in front of the room that looked out onto the water. There was a small stream running by our building and a series of decks joined around the lakefront. The front board walk wrapped around the other buildings and came around the front of the restaurants and pool area. There were rows of chaise lounges on the lower deck and stairs leading up to the pool with outdoor seatings areas and what looked to be an outdoor bar that likely is open in the busy season. The pool area was quiet and clean warmer than the lake. The grounds are nice, some landscaping, but overall feels like you’re in the woods. The main reception building is newer, with bags of complementary ice, snacks for sale (ice cream bars, drinks, chips, candy), some health/beauty items, a bathroom, some merch and a shelf with free DVDs on it.
