What I did appreciate from a staff member the advice we received about a winery to visit. There are so many it was hard to decide. She recommended Konzelmann and it was excellent. We purchased 8 bottles and it turned out to be excellent wine. She gave exact directions on how to get there, which we would likely never have found otherwise. Greatly appreciated her knowledge of the wines.

By far one of the prettiest towns I have ever stayed in and a perfect location to visit Niagara Falls. Plenty of restaurants, shops, and bakeries. Right on Lake Ontario. Loads of vineyards within the area. Will be back.

Many pubs do not take reservations - best to check ahead.
Many pubs do not take reservations - best to check ahead. Lots of tourists and locals - so if there is music - know it may be hard to get into a place for a quick bite to eat. The app for parking near down town is fantastic.

I love it! It is such a quaint little town.
I love it! It is such a quaint little town. I would love to visit during other seasons. We stayed in winter, it was a bit rainy and foggy but absolutely beautiful! We enjoyed the afternoon tea at the hotel. What a wonderful experience! We also ate at the Irish Harp across the street from the hotel. It was delicious! I would definitely recommend both of those.

Just an absolutely wonderful place to visit for the theater, food, shopping, walking, and overall atmosphere. The Irish Harp and Angel Inn are great places for food, a pint, and music. Shaw Festival productions are the equal of any Broadway show. In the middle of Canadian Wine Country. We visit from the Finger Lakes in NYS at least once a year.

Great place to visit, we actually make it a yearly event.
Great place to visit, we actually make it a yearly event. From the hotel, everything you need is only a short walk from the door ! If you want a more elegant setting, the hotel dining area is for you. If you want to rub elbows with the locals, there are plenty of restaurants & dinners close by. The Shaw Theater is a five-minute walk from here, and the Royal George Theater is six minutes away. All in all, it's a great place to visit at any time of year !

We were in town to see the falls and visit the shops in Niagara-on-the-Lake. We did not want to stay in the Casino/Clifton Hill area as we preferred something quieter and more sedate, and the “classic” hotels in Niagara-on-the-Lake were way too expensive and booked up. Staybridge proved to be the perfect solution. Clean and comfortable and within easy distance from the things we wanted to see and at a comparably moderate price. No it wasn’t right by the sights but we were completely happy with the experience and got good rest.
Super well kept historical house and excellent breakfast every day. We enjoyed talking about the house with Maria. Also loved the pre-breakfast scones and tea in the morning. It really felt like a vacation staying here. Yes, the house is older (it's history!) but it's also well kept with era-appropriate renovations, and super clean — cleaner than many hotels I've stayed at. We would recommend anyone visiting Niagara-on-the-Lake stay here!
Breakfast, and a pre-breakfast brought to our room!, was fantastic - the best we had anywhere on our 3 week trip. Jen the chef was fabulous, thank you! Well catered for on the dairy-free front, thanks.
Lovely room: bed was comfortable, nice bathroom too.
Parking very handy, and free.
Good location for driving to the Falls, and NOTL town centre is lovely (though a lot further than I thought).
Very nice hospitality, staff was very warm and welcoming. We had taken a king room suite for 2 nights. Room was quite clean and spacious to my family's liking. Best thing about the hotel was it was sort friendly hotel and welcomed our dog with a cookie treat. The hotel is also very well located from all nearby spots.
Our breakfasts were exceptional! Joe did a great job. The components of the three courses were well chosen, prepared to perfection and the presentation was very nice. Nanci was very helpful with restaurant recommendations and arranging a winery tour for us. Everything was superb!
Beautiful old hotel. Rooms were redone but still had that Victorian style. Perfect walking distance into town. Parking was a little difficult on Saturday because you have to park in numbered spots but the bell man came running out and told us where we could park.
Breakfast was great, lots of food and I appreciated the coconut yogurt option. We enjoyed the lovely street and close location to downtown, the winery’s and bike trails. We walked and rode our bikes to explore the area. We really enjoyed our stay!
The facitilies. The Gym. The courts and spa.
The gym was top notch. Better than 99.9% of hotels and resorts I have been to. There's a real focus on athletics. It's also has a rehabilitation centre. Kudos.
Indoor tennis courts also... Total score.
Central location right off the highway and close to the outlets and other major hotels. The lounge was great, especially since we brought in our own takeout that we wanted to eat at the hotel. Dog friendly with very friendly staff.
Everything! The hotel is beautiful, the staff friendly, helpful and attentive, the rooms are luxurious, the food and drink is all amazing and the location is absolutely perfect. Easily the best hotel i’ve stayed in, in a long time.
Breakfast was good, the price of this hotel was shameful. It's dark, old, has only double beds, the pillows were pitiful, the bathroom was not spotless, you could hear everything in the hallway and priced like a luxury hotel.
Was walking 15-20 minutes walking distance to Queen St, but also had choices outside of the downtown. Great location to get to wineries. Hotel was quaint, beautiful florals outside! Good breakfast and friendly staff.
Fantastic location and facilities

Excellent standard throughout
Would definitely recommend as the best place to stay in Niagara On The Lake, and we will be back !
