The Sandpiper cottage was in the perfect location for exploring all of PEI as central on the north coast and beautiful beaches a short drive or long hike away. The Tourist Mart, close by, had all the food and other household supplies you might need and The Ship Yard restaurant just down the street had the best food we had on our trip - everything was just perfect.
The kitchen had most everything you needed but the pots and frying pans were very tired - bring a good frying pan and at least one good pot if they don't upgrade if you like to cook.
Beds were very comfortable and lots of extra blankets if you wanted them. Good cupboard space as well. Having the two bathrooms, one on each floor was perfect for 2 couples or a family. BBQ was pretty new and very clean and all the BBQing utensils were there. Picnic table outside on the deck and parking right outside the door. Very quiet spot and just 4 cottages in the group but very well spaced out and lots of trees giving you privacy and a pretty spot.
We got our key from the office just down the road a few hours early and since we were leaving very early in the morning they let us just leave the key in the cottage when we left - very accommodating and fast communication when I asked a question.
Would recommend staying here for location, space and cute cottage and great beds.

The location was awesome, we stayed here before so knew what to expect. Beds were comfy, shower supplies and towels were great. TV was good. Price was excellent .

Location was ok . I thought we was getting a cottage or a cabin instead it was a motel room not much of anything for amenities other than toilet paper. We paid for 2 nights left after 1 night and unable to get a refund for the second night . I would not recommend this place to anyone

I have no idea where there was any breakfast other than what we brought and cooked ourselves. 😊
We loved the scenery and the proximity to every location on the island.

Beautiful area, and perfect location to PEI Preserve company, New Glasgow Lobster suppers, the Butterfly house is worth seeing. It is also a quick drive to The Blue Mussel, and the Brackley drive in, and both Cavendish, and Charlottetown.

New Glasgow is lovely for those who like a quiet and beautiful location. Island Preserve Company is located here and had a lovely retail shop with yummy preserves, a restaurant, walking paths, and butterfly house!

New Glasgow, PEI is exactly where you'll go when you want a quiet getaway on a lazy river, but with wonderful restaurants and great golf only minutes away. This part of the Island is gloriously beautiful - I always tell friends to throw the map on the floor and just drive around.
In NG itself, the Prince Edward Island Preserve Company's wonderful restaurant is a don't miss; just up the road in North Rustico, the Blue Mussel Café is another. You're only 25 minutes from Charlottetown, too, and there's so much to see and do and eat in PEI's capital - and then you can escape back to NG and have a restful sleep.

A great place to stay on this beautiful Island, with great scenery, close to the coast, and quite central for getting out and about. The town itself has a few restaurants and also the Garden of Hope, with restaurant and gift shop, a lovely place to relax and walk round the gardens set next to the river. Also just down the road from Cavendish, home of the Anne of Green Gables museum.
It was a very special experience, different from any other hotel or bed and breakfast I've stayed at before. It's a historic house, and all the rooms have very peculiar decorations, making it feel like you are in an old film. The breakfast area and terrace are so beautiful! And the breakfast is simple and delicious. Also, the attention from the innkeepers was great, and the rooms are quite large!
This is the most charming place in the world. I truly felt a perfect mix of staying in a home and having full hotel service. The location is absolutely perfect (very close to Cavendish, 30 minutes from Charlottetown), the hosts were knowledgeable, kind and professional, and as a total bonus the breakfast was delicious. Would recommend to anyone!!!
I really enjoyed my stay at your hotel. The staff was incredibly welcoming and attentive, making me feel right at home. Additionally, the breakfasts were fantastic – a great way to start each day. Thank you for providing such a wonderful experience!
A beautiful and peaceful setting in New Glasgow. Our beautiful room was perfect! Well-appointed and very comfortable. Our host, Nicole, has created a lovely oasis for her guests.
