The big truck is the main tourist draw I think. Otherwise, Sparwood is a great stopping point before heading into Alberta. There are some nice trails around the city thought. Beware, shops close early.
Restaurant service was excellent. The room was a surprise as Sparwood is a coal/logging industry town and expected the rooms to be just ok. Very surprised to find the rooms in very good condition.
