FAQs about hotels in Montréal

A Blend of the Urban and the Outdoors

Montreal is the second largest city in Canada and the entry point to Quebec province via Pierre Elliott Trudeau Airport. Montreal truly has it all. Divided into East and West by Boulevard Saint-Laurent, there are several districts to the city, each offering a distinct atmosphere.

Downtown is best explored on foot, as you weave your way through skyscrapers and visit museums such as the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts. In the winter time you can steer clear of icy paths by heading underground through the passages of the Underground City, full of shops, cinemas and food courts.

From here metros will conveniently take you outwards in any direction you might want to go, from the historic Old Montreal to the hip café and restaurant culture of the Quartier Latin-Le Village.

In summer, stay closer to the old town and head outdoors in Parc Jean-Drapeau on the St Lawrence River islands of Île Sainte-Helen and Île Notre-Dame. If the weather isn’t fine enough for rowing, water-skiing and beaches then head to the Montreal Casino.

Whether you’re visiting for festivals or fashion, gastronomy or culture, with over 190 hotels and B&Bs with Booking.com you’ll find your perfect home away from home.

    Getting around Montreal was easy.

Getting around Montreal was easy. We stayed at a central location and most things were within walking distance. Ubers are readily available. The highlight of our trip was lunch and spa treatments at Bota Bota. Our favorite breakfast/brunch places were Beauty's and Olive et Gourmando. The best dinners were at Beatrice, Le Taj, and Nora Gray. The ferris wheel at night was so much fun. It far exceeded our expectations. We enjoyed the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts and a hike to the outlook point at Mount Royal. The best shopping was pretty far up Saint Laurent Boulevard. I think it started around the 4000 blocks. Have breakfast/brunch at Beauty's, walk a few blocks to Saint Laurent and turn left to shop. I wish we'd planned our trip for longer so we could have done more street shopping, gone to Cirque du Soleil, visited some churches, and taken the train to Quebec City for a few days.

You could spend months in Montreal & still not see everything! I am always in awe of the architecture & beauty of this city. Although, we always seem to end up there on garbage pick up day. Lol. I love how they try to preserve the old architecture, The food is amazing, the culture, sites & history is an absolute gem.

Clean comfortable room with everything needed to have maximum flexibility and enjoyment when visiting Montreal. The hotel is very close to a subway station that serves three different lines (UQMA Berry), within walking distance of downtown / old Montreal, has parking (if required but honestly, not required) and the breakfast provided had all the basics plus fresh bagels / croissants! Well maintained. The sliding window is the best feature in our room to keep the sun away. The bed was very comfortable. I also liked the connecting doors that connected our room to my kids room. Gives us enough privacy between the rooms. Amenities are excellent as well pool was warm and gym was clean. Location was perfect. Enough restaurants around the area to eat. Easy access to Namur Metro Station to take you to downtown Montreal. Highly recommends this hotel.

Location, but for specific personal reasons as this hotel is about 200m from a place of a personal interest. In August, the hotel guests were mostly young people, but it was quiet and pleasant. We had a corner room, which was spacious, with high ceiling, and comfortable bed. Very near by is a liquor store SAQ, grocery store Adonis and Winners (for deal seekers). A 20 minute walk on Peel street will get you into the heart of downtown Montreal.

The bed is clean and comfortable. The room is clean with hardwood floor and ceramic tile. It was quiet at night considering its situated right downtown. I'm quite happy with my stay. Everything! Location in the very center of Montreal. Valet to park your car in the hotel parking which is so great (try parking your car yourself downtown - good luck). One room suite big, clean and comfortable. Stuff very nice and helpful. The mattress of the sofa bed was really worn out - when we told them they brought us an additional bed to the room. Good breakfast although they could have more diverse things.

Very much a superior location, connected to Montreal underground: It is possible to travel almost anywhere downtown without a jacket during the winter. The hotel also has superior sports facilities: an excellent well stocked gym, great swimming pool / hot tub with reserved time for adults (after 8p). Staff had plenty of Christmas perks for kids.
