Roomy & comfortable. Generous supply of linens if required. I like the separation of sink & mirrors, from bath & toilet. Easy place to stop off Trans Canada highway when doing long drives.
This hotel features an indoor pool with tropical garden and a full-service spa. The Quebec hotel is located in downtown Montmagny, within a 5-minute walk of shopping.

The breakfast was amazing. Several choices. The waitress was very helpful as we don't speak French. Very good service.
Located off Highway 20, this hotel is 5 minutes' drive from snowmobile trail no. 5. It features an outdoor pool, daily continental breakfast and free WiFi. Spacious rooms offer cable TV.

I liked the location. Not far off of the main highway.

Situated in Saint-Joachim, 8.6 km from Sainte Anne de Beaupre Basilica, La Belle Excuse features accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a shared lounge and a terrace.
Easy check-in.
Room and bathroom very clean,
Good breakfast options. Enjoyed the pancakes and maple syrup but would prefer scrambled eggs rather than hard-boiled eggs.
Pet friendly.
Easy access to restaurants and services.

The hotel was clean and quiet.
The hotel was clean and quiet. However, and this is a big minus, because we booked on line (Booking.com) we were limited to a room on the second floor. No elevator or escalator, just a long flight of stairs. Very difficult for me to navigate, as I had a recent knee replacement. This 2nd-floor-if-you-book-on-line was not evident on the Booking.com site. The clerk made no effort to accommodate our request to have a ground floor room, at the same price, despite the fact that the hotel was far from full. Also: the restaurant is a St Hubert next door, although linked to the hotel. The food was terrible.

Our time in Montmagny was centered around the old city I think they call it. It is a clean quiet and historic part of the city and very pleasant. A river divides the area and the river mouth features a wide but shallow waterfall and ferry terminal to the islands.

A strong history 350 years and a sense of the achievements over this time - beautiful views of the St Lawrence en route and on arrival - many locales to visit here -music /accordian competition and free performances, trails along the river and a beautiful drive along the river both east and west on the 132
some other great dining to be had beside Maison Rousseau -

We were given a room in the motel section across the road from reception. It was clean and quite modern but had a ‘sterile’ fell about it, which I guess a lot of people like these days.
At check in you can prepay $8 p.p. for a breakfast in the restaurant attached. It was a nice cosy restaurant, polite staff, the breakfast was well presented and good value.
We would probably stay again if out that way.

A lovely spot to unwind!
A lovely spot to unwind! Beautiful parks, clean, home proud and safe neighbourhood’s to walk through. This area loves Pee Gee Hydrangea’s, they are everywhere on mass! Various species..
There were a few old cars out on Sunday, even a beautifully restored/ (pumped up inside) Hudson!!! Equipped with the original owner in the back seat...a skeleton🤣😂
We didn’t get to take the Ferry to the Islands due to limited time and tide flows...but those who had been said they are pristine!
Enroute to PEI, I booked this Hotel for one night. We were so pleased with the rooms, that we pre-booked for one night on our return to Toronto.
The atrium is the highlight filled with tropical plants, caged lovebirds, indoor swimming pool and whirlpool. There is also an outdoor pool surrounded by beautifully kept grounds and sitting areas.
We appreciated the change of room to a first floor room as this hotel doesn't have elevators. The room was perfect and even had two chairs right outside the patio door. We were traveling to see Grosse Ile the next morning whi h was a convenient short drive away. La Colosse restaurant was across the street and was excellent.
the property was clean and attractive, the pool looked inviting though we didn’t have time to try it. the hotel was clean and comfortable. the room was clean, comfortable, quiet and well-appointed. continental breakfast was nicely done. the young woman worked hard to keep everything filled and clean.
Breakfast was typical hotel continental-style, offering toast and assorted spreads, cold cereal, and packaged muffins. As such, it provided ballast before continuing our long drive, which is all one can ask from a budget motel/hotel. The room was clean and quiet, the beds were comfortable.
The location was great in the old part of the city. Parking was free on the street. Interesting shops and restaurants nearby. It is a nice old building which could be made into a very cosy and chic hotel with some loving care and upgrade. Its potential is not being recognized or used.
The greenery, and the restaurant! This hotel became a must when I travel this route! Have to spend a night: most relaxing and enjoyable! The staff deserve a gold star for succeeding to accommodate us, in our preferred room! The package supper and breakfast very appealing
The owner was very nice. Breakfast was good, which is exceptional for Quebec where you literally cannot find decent food to eat except junk food. The hotel also had its charm but was not clean and comfortable enough
It’s just ok for a night in your journey. But remember never used Restaurant connected to Hotel Lobby, they’ll rip you off like just for a black coffee charge you $4.00 !! You can imagine the rest !!
The location was in the heart of quaint Montmagny. The hotel had loads of character, was close to restaurants, and the staff was friendly and spoke both French and English.
The room was nice and quiet, and the location of the hotel is great for the road trip.
The mattress deserves a special call out as if was very firm which I liked a lot.
