The location was great, same with on grounds facilities and front desk staff. Although I'd stay here again, it would solely be due to it fitting the basic necessities and being close to where we were visiting. It's not a comfortable stay within my actual hotel room, and I tried not to be in there unless I was sleeping.
Located off Highway 34, this motel is a 5-minute drive from the ferry service and Leamington Dock. It features an on-site children’s playground and free WiFi.

Hosts Carol and Scott were so welcoming. It was an extremely comfortable environment
Leamington is a lovely community. What we learned in our stay is that there are many migrant workers from Mexico so many of our Ontario visitors work in retail and the service industry and speak Spanish. As a result, we learned that Leamington has the "BEST' authentic Mexican food. We went for a team dinner and let me tell you, it was an amazing meal at Hot Tacos Restaurant. Truly authentic food in Leamington.
We also had the opportunity to experience the beach. Clean and lots of sandbars for the children to enjoy.
Leamington also has a ferry to Pelee Island and although we did not get to experience this excursion, it is reasonably priced and gives you the option of taking your car, bi-cycle or walking onto the ferry for a day of adventure. Leaving at 10 and returning at 4. Worth checking out next time we go in this direction.

Leamington has the wonderful nature preserve of Point Pelee National Park and Pelee Island. There are many wineries and lavender farms in the area. In the autumn you csn visit Jack Miner's Bird sanctuary in nearby Kingsville and observe migrating geese on the flyway south to warmer climes. There is a strong Mexican presence in the town of Leamington which has spawned GREAT Mexican restaurants.

I had never been to Leamington before.
I had never been to Leamington before. We went because we had been to Niagara on the Lake and Prince Edward County to tour wineries but never Pelee Island area. Chose this location as room is close (10 minute drive) to port where you can catch the ferry to the Island. We went on Oct 3 which is their off season. Not much to see on the Island and the ferry ride out, while peaceful 1.5 hours, didn't give you much to look at (no scenery, islands, coastal views). Once on the Island, there isn't much as there are only two wineries and one was closed for the season. If you hike or bike, it may be worth the trip to the Island but my husband and I had better time touring the 15 wineries on the mainland. Smaller wineries with really good wine that's not sold at LCBO (government controlled liquor store). We stocked up for Christmas gifts. Tastings are not free but most will give you credit back on the tasting fee if you purchase a bottle of wine.

Leamington is the kind of place that has a small town, homey, and inviting feeling while having lots of great restaurants and amenities. I think that it is often overlooked by some travelers, but trust me, if you make proper use of your time and explore all it has to offer you will find Leamington a wonderful getaway.
The amenities in the hotel are great! Wish there were more towels in the pool area. I brought one for my infant daughter and I was glad because they were all piled in the hamper when we walked in. I did not have a towel going from the pool to my room. The playground, badminton court and jungle are awesome for the kids & adults! One of my favourite places to stay. Can't wait for the water slides to be fixed.
The host is very nice and available for every need. The room was extremely clean with a great attention to details.
The position is great, you can easily reach both downtown Leamington and Kingsville.
