Very friendly staff, both the reception staff and the cleaning staff were lovely. A number of restaurants in the Hinton area and Milo's was particularly good and a short walk away from the hotel. Although it is an hour from Jasper it is far less expensive than staying in Jasper itself.

Hinton is always a perfect stop when travelling to visit our family in Alberta. The view of the mountains both coming and going is absolutely beautiful. Accommodation is reasonable in price, and lots of good places to eat. We had supper at Smitty's and the food was excellent and portions very generous. It is very easy to get around.

Hinton is a great place to stay for good hotels with reasonable price. Didn't get chance to explore anything in particular in Hinton. There was a a travel of 45-50 min involved to visit places nearby Jasper so keep aside 2 hours for the day if you are staying in Hinton.

Hinton was just an affordable rest stop before we spent the day in jasper. The town was quite peaceful and surrounded by mountains and hills. It was a spectacular morning view. there were many restaurants open which provided us with good breakfast options. It is a bit far away from Jasper, about an hour's drive. That was the only downfall of this town.

Hinton is best if you want to save some money for overnight stay, visiting the Park and mountains further west, also you can get all things from the store there, good choice of restaurants, the only negative is the factory in Hinton that spews some kind of terrible pollutant that is very intense if the wind is not taking that away from the town, one can smell it feel it.
Excellent breakfast, the guy running it was very friendly and efficient. He seemed to be the only one working on a busy Monday morning. The breakfast was tasty as well. The hotel is located close to shopping (Walmart and Safeway and Can. Tire). You can pick up water and snacks for the room. The hotel is on the way to Jasper and has a large parking lot. Our room was spacious, (4th floor) with a seating area/ tv space. The room was in excellent condition and so is the hotel for that matter.
it’s located close to hwy 16 so it is easy to access Jasper. Grocery shopping and the mall are also very close. The room was clean and we had fresh towels everyday when we were back.
The staff is amazing! One day we had a battery issue and the ladies in the front were so kind to help us boost our car. All around amazing, will definitely come back again next year <3
The motel was overall nice. Plenty of parking and tons of activities (restaurants, stores) located nearby. This location happens to be an hour outside of Jasper, which makes it an ideal location to stop before going into Jasper. The front service was quick and got us our room keys quickly. The room we had was a good size. Clean beds, floors, and bathroom.
The cheapest option for miles!
Just simple and plain. Bed, bath, shower, toilet, tv, fridge, microwave, table, chair, mirror. That’s it. But what more would you need? Nothing fancy or fake. Just pain and honest. In my opinion much better than the fancy hotels that basically have the same but make it look like there’s more.
Tip: visit the bar.
The room was clean and quiet. The bed was comfortable and the room was spacious. We booked a few months in advance and for a great deal, as we were visiting Jasper for a week with our toddler. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room has all the necessities. The ice machine worked awesome.
The friendly staff! Especially the staff assigned at breakfast and the Filipino manager whom I spoke with on the phone, ensured me that I will get call and confirmation from Hinton Lodge Jasper once they have an accessible room available. She did. And we got an awesome deal!
We traveled in the off season (December 21) and their were only a small amount of guests. Room was clean comfortable and spacious. We stayed in a pet friendly room on the first floor. Coffee available in the room was very good. Price for the room was very reasonable.
Eden, Hailey and Dakota were amazing. Fantastic team members that took customer service to a new level. The cleanest inn I have ever seen.
I also loved that the beds had their own rooms, I wish all hotels and motels did this.
After 2 nights living in other hotels in the parks, days inn in Hinton let me feel relaxed, the size of the room is double than the room in the parks, very neat, much less cost than living in a small room in the parks.
The hotel is conveniently located near Jasper and beautiful mountains area. The breakfast is delicious and abundant. Swimming pool with the slide is the most enjoyable part specially for the kids.
