A beautiful, friendly little town in the Pontiac.

A beautiful, friendly little town in the Pontiac. The Chutes are definitely worth a visit, I recommend at least half a day. Also recommend driving across the Pont Machand 'Mansfield'. A stay at Spruceholme Inn is highly recommended.

A beautiful town steeped in a forgotten time.

A beautiful town steeped in a forgotten time. The people are so very polite and cheerful. Lovely shops. With COVID the town is suffering. I encourage you to stop by for a visit and see the splendor of this Quebec town.

The town is practically a ghost town.

The town is practically a ghost town. Its fortunes turned when the pulp and paper industry closed. The Inn is one of its best features. But it is well located for visits to local hiking and biking areas. In non-COVID times it would be a great place for a wedding or conference. The restaurant is in a lovely re-purposed hay barn.
