We were treated to an excellent gourmet breakfast every day, everything freshly prepared and home made. A combination of healthy and tasty that few places manage to achieve.
The hosts were friendly and helpful, every recommendation for local places matched what we were looking for. We felt welcomed and well taken care of.
The house is tastefully arranged; every item carefully selected, evoking the times when the house was built. With addition of modern comforts, such as the jacuzzi, for relaxing after a long hike, it all creates a nice, cozy environment for a very pleasant stay.
Wasaga Beach is 30 minutes’ drive from this inn. Rooms include free popcorn and beverages. Guests can enjoy a bonfire pit and hiking trails on the property.

It was so beautiful! The staff are amazing and will do everything they can to make you comfortable. The breakfasts were so good. It was so nice to walk the property and see the reindeer and Icelandic horses.

Lovely staff, very clean, well laid out hotel. From check in to check out, everyone was extremely professional, polite, helpful. The heated outdoor pool put it over the top, even at 13 degrees C, my kids and us enjoyed swimming outdoors. Perfect location with proximity to the village. We've stayed at all of the resorts in the village, inc. Blue Mountain Resort and the Hilton, this is by far my favourite of them all.

The female owner wouldn’t let a special needs grandchild be in their room for a couple hours a in the afternoon while waiting for the wedding. They kicked him out!!! I still don’t even understand how they could do that. They said no guests allowed “read the fine print”
He was not in any way being a problem. Still trying to figure out their very inflexible way of operating.
This is one of three bad incidents for three of our wedding guests.

Lovely 'rural' area with great access to town. We enjoyed visiting Duntroon Cyder house especially and they passed on some great recommendations for Amy's Bakery and tips for a future cider related trip we will definitely be planning!!
Duntroon is much like I remember it from years ago! A lovely escape from our busy lives!
