We shared a one bedroom suite with pull out bed with a family member. The room was clean and comfortable with a very well stocked kitchenette. We used the pool which was quite cold and the hot tub which was comfortably warm. Coffee and water is available in the lobby in the morning though for the price I would have expected at least a continental breakfast.

Being on a golf course and it was partially updated (floor, furniture and finally an A/C)
Comox has lots of beautiful areas to explore. The town was cute and had everything you needed plus some interesting stores. Great little getaway place. Plus there is also Courtenay and Cumberland right there for more areas to visit.

This time we stayed right around Kye Bay.
This time we stayed right around Kye Bay. We ventured over to Little River and Cape Lazo and visited some of the beaches, nice to change up the visual. We lunched at Crown Isle (tasty) and had dinner at Land and Sea brewery (also good). Getting groceries and fuel was easy and relatively close. We enjoyed some chipping and putting at Glacier Greens one evening. The beach at Key Bay was so wonderful! There is a lot more to do and we will likely go back.

We were pleasantly surprised with the good dining available in the town. Martine´s Bistro, Avenue, Bistro, Toscano´s Mediterranean Grill were all good. The first two are excellent. Be sure to reserve. MIlano Coffee is also a good spot.
We came in Comox for the walking and geocaching, and were not disappointed.

Comox is a second home so I'm there quite often.
Comox is a second home so I'm there quite often. Sites: Filberg Lodge is a must to visit, their oceanfront cafe serves great food when open and walking the marina boardwalk to spy on boats and kingfishers is a pleasant pastime. The Comox and Comox base little museums. It's a pretty, walkable, bikeable village/town and the ocean/mountain views are lovely. The main shopping street has quality if not quantity of stores. Food? Church St bakery, the Black Fin pub, Sushi Kobo takeout are my favs but there is also a great gelato place, and a few I haven't tried - Toscano's, Martine's. Wander around, get a bike. If self-catering, I like Quality foods. The biggest problem is the limited transit system if you want to avoid cars so pick up transit maps at the town hall if you want to go to next-door Courtenay where there are some fine boutiques to explore and eating to be be done (Atlas Cafe, Butcher's Block for meat/takeout, Hot Chocolates (which is sooo much more than chocolates I'll leave it to you to find out...), Vassili's bakery but explore - there are others. If you're on a very strict budget, need clothing - Value Village has everything you need; for funky reasonably priced casual/cruise - Art Knapps garden store (you read that right - garden store). Swim/wet wear - Everything Wet is the best for high quality swimsuits (two and counting). Great variety, great owner, look for the sales. Worth every cent and I'm a tough fit, short, overweight, short-waisted and pear-shaped to boot. My latest Australian design Azura one-piece swimsuit makes 60+ me feel like a model. Things to do: Sid Williams live theatre, great Courtenay museum, Puntledge river and Seal Bay walks, So much more - the music scene, skiing, fishing, sailing, canoeing, biking, riding, sampling (40 Knots winery - the Meritage!!!!). Go, surprise yourself exploring this lovely area and all it has to offer.
Oh wow, everything was great. The room was clean, and the bed was super comfortable. Having our own outdoor entrance was very convenient. The breakfasts were delicious, and it was wonderful sitting out in the gazebo having breakfast and chatting with everyone. Mena and Ken were fantastic hosts. We had some great laughs. Close to the ocean and the beach and so quiet. A short drive in to Comox. Loved our stay here.
The location was very good for us. We loved walking on the beach everyday. We went to the Comox area for family matters and our hosts were very accommodating, and helpful. The choices for breakfast were very sufficient and they had was what we wanted.
Due to our late arrival time (~10:30pm) at Comox Airport, our friendly host Vince kindly offered to pick us up at the airport and show us into to our apartment.
