We were warmly welcomed by our hosts and the house and room were lovely. Breakfast was delicious. We could walk easily to everywhere we wanted to be downtown. We would definitely stay again if in the area.

We were only here on an overnight visit after going to a show at the Upper Canada Playhouse. The weather was cool and overcast so although we drove around for a bit did not really take in the sights. The downtown area is a must to see though and holds an old time charm that should not be missed. From historical period homes and lovely shops/stores to visit and all set against the mighty St Lawrence River. We have promised ourselves to go back when it gets warmer and take full advantage of the area.

We enjoyed our 2 day stay in Brockville and found enough to do there. The town is pleasant to explore with some nice shops and restaurants. The museum and railway tunnel are interesting, the river cruise is fun, the scenery beautiful and the waterside location relaxing. Pace of life feels slow and this is reflected in some of the service we experienced in the restaurants. There are opportunities for swimming and boating but we did not try these. We also did not visit the Aquatarium but this looks good especially for children. Overall a really nice place to visit where the locals seem to take a great pride in their town and their history.

I loved walking on the water front, just fantastic views of the St. Lawrence Seaway.
We had a great meal at the pub at Tall Ships Landing.
Loved the 1000 Islands cruise, worth the money paid for 1.5 hours.
I found the city quaint, with its beautiful old historic buildings, squares and churches, a real little jewel.
People were very friendly.
Pay parking available, and free parking for 2 hours also available, so that was great.
Did not like that most of the restaurants closed by 9 or 10 pm, some even by 7 pm.

It is a charming little town with interesting things to view and within a short distance of Seaway towns.
We ate at Chucks, which is within easy walking distance of the Inn. The menu was huge, great service, very reasonable prices, wish the restaurant was closer to where we live!

Small town with lots of amenities - golf course located only a few kilometres from downtown, multiple marinas, choice of restaurants and cuisines, small shops as well as big box stores, Brockville Tunnel, Brock trail that runs through good length of town, Mac Johnson Conservation area, situated on St. Lawrence River in the Thousand Islands, easy access via 401 or RT 2.
The room and building was beautiful. We loved the style and detail. We came with our family including a 2.5 toddler& 3 month and having the elevator not working made it more then challenging to carry that much luggage & items up 3 flights of stairs 3x up to the room. I’m all for a new work out challenge but on vacation with the family in this environment not so much. Then leaving the hotel was equally challenging for our family.
In short, everything. From the welcome tour over the property, the rooms, the facilities, the location, the breakfast - this turned out to be one of our best ‘finds’ re location in our trip. David and Ida made us very welcome and we would not hesitate to return or recommend! Spend a little time in Brockville and treat yourself at the Sir Isaac Brock.
Beautiful room, like absolutely stunning. Stayed here for two nights for my wedding - first night with my girls which was perfect. It’s really the most perfect place to get ready as it’s spacious and has everything you’d need. Stayed here the second night with my new husband and it was lovely to come back to after our wedding.
The Boutique Hotel in Brockville was a perfect getaway just off the main road in town, a close walk to the farmers market, and all the great restaurants and shops. The breakfasts were delicious. The room was comfortable and clean, the salt-water pool was delightful, and the hosts were welcoming and friendly.
The location was perfect, just steps away from the best of Brockville (aquarium, tunnel, river, main street). The suite was very spacious and had everything needed, including coffee, tea, and even oatmeal for breakfast! There was an outdoor space with table and chairs.
The complimentary breakfast was fair. The lady in charge of the breakfast room worked hard and kept things clean and in order. When we requested toilet paper, staff brought some quickly to our room. The location was good - right off the highway.
Great stay based on hotel of this category.
- We were on a cycling trip and they were okay with us taking the bikes in the room.
- Exceptional staff.
- Good breakfast
- Warm homemade cookies in the evening were yummy.
More than fair price, good room, and the lady at the check in was really friendly
Good bed, nice bathroom.
We were just a few people in the hotel, however, the complimentary breakfast had still good options.
We were warmly greeted upon arrival and couldn't have asked for better hosts. The bed and breakfast combines the best of home and hotel life, with special attention to detail and a custom breakfast!
Loved the hotel, the services offered, the staff and the food. The location is also great. Don't understand why this new hotel (2019) is only two stars. It should be a four star.
Very good access from the main. Neat, clean and friendly staff. Good breakfast.
Excellent value for money. Better than holiday Inn in Toronto that we stayed before this.
