I got ripped off of $416 that I paid by e-transfer as requested - Booking.com refuses to pay me back for this outrageous situation and I have had to relocate on the spot on a late Friday night, Bowmanville is a very small town with little options for rental, especially on a long weekend. In the end, I have payed over $1200 in room rental for 3 nights.
The front desk person deserves a raise. She was exceptional. Quite literally the sweetest person to my son. She made sure our stay was great. The breakfast was the BEST hotel breakfast we have had with a customized omlete bar. We enjoyed the pool and a quiet restful sleep. We couldn't ask for more!
The room was great. With a king bed and comfortable chair with an ottoman. I stay in many hotels and its surprising how many hotels do not provide and ottoman with the chair to put your legs up after a long day. When I saw that ottoman I was a happy senior!
Breakfast - great options, but was what it was for hotel breakfasts, buffet style, choices were there, clean, not like home made, but wasn’t expecting it to be so.
Room - love a king bed, clean, stocked with shampoo, conditioner and body wash
