The hotel is directly at the Chobe river, providing excellent views to the water and in the garden you can see animals all day. You don’t have to plan any activities in advance, since the hotel provides ample opportunities to float on the river or get to a safari to the national park. The rooms are spacious, excellent breakfast and dinner is served. We had a wonderful time.

We only stayed in Kasane as a base to go into Chobe National Park for day visits. We didn't go into Kasane town at all. We spent 2 full days in Chobe and definitely needed more time. 3 nights at Travelodge.

It is at the shore of the Chobe river going into the Chobe National Park. The area have lots to offer if you love nature. The people are extremely friendly and willing to help and to accommodate your needs where possible. Victoria Falls is not far away and perfect to combine it into your trip.

Kasane was great if you were looking only to have safaris and relax. Not much more to do. People were very very friendly, the food was good and had a lot of variety, it felt very safe. I would go back without hesitation

Excellent entry point for the Chobe Nationa Park.
Excellent entry point for the Chobe Nationa Park. So much mor convenient than day trips from Livingstone or Victoria.
Recommend also a visit to the crocodile farm

Kasane is tourist attraction place. It is beautiful for people who love nature and are not phobic to small creatures and animals because such are an occasional site see. It also near Zambia and Zimbabwe and one can easily make a day trip to the 2 countries especially the Victoria falls

Make sure about the food you can take with. In the stores you don't find some of the well known brands. There is no restaurants where you can have a proper meal. People are great, friendly and helpful. Love them
When we arrived there was a group of kids (many :) ) and Neo was really nice and placed us in another location, for not being disturbed.
We bookd all the activities with Neo and we have no regrets!
The boat cruise safari was a great deal as we had a small boat only for me and my friend!
The combo deal was also great! We have seen many animals and the driver was really nice.
Thanks for everything We will definitely book with Elephant Trail if we return to Kasane!

Thebe River Safaris was excellent value,
Very comfortable rooms with unlimited hot water 24-7 which is always a treat in Botswana.
Food in Resteraunt/Bar was plentiful and the choice was very good, but what made the stay for us was the Staff especially Asa, Matt, O.T., Khumby and T.K. in fact everyone made our stay in Kasane absolutely Magic

The breakfast buffet was amazing with views from the restaurant over the Chobe river. The activities desk was extremely helpful and organized a private birding boat trip for us with a birding guide as well as a full day drive to Chobe National Park with lunch. The sunset cruise departing directly from the hotel is also recommended. Our family room was spacious, modern and clean.
I have stayed in a Rondavel overseeing the river. It has an amazing view of the river and was very close to all amenities of Kasane. Wifi is strong and was great since was on a business trip. The staff are super helpful - Monga, Baqi, Lesh, Selelo delivered excellent customer service and went the extra mile. The breakfast and dinner menu were very diverse and tasty.
We loved our stay in the hotel as Its people and the owners are very attentive to help you! the gardens are beautiful, the bed fantastic and the kitchen well-equipped for everything you need.
It is also important to highlight the location since it is very central to everything in the town.
I can understand the positive reviews of Chobe Marina Lodge as the location, some of the staff and easy access to game drives is really good. In particular the guys working at the terrace bar were very friendly. Also any excursion we did through the hotel was very well organised.
The observation tower overlooking the river valley. The excellent housekeeping and super efficient same day laundry service. The availability of tours from the hotel. the breakfast and dinner service, especially the braai on Friday night. The lively atmosphere.
Excellent breakfast and lunch and a lovely outlook from the dining area with birds and warthogs providing entertainment during the meal.
The location is convenient but not noisy or crowded, and the experience has more local atmosphere than in a large hotel.

The staff was very friendly and helpful, it rained and they gave us an umbrella to use. Facilities were very clean. The lodge is located near the river bank so the view was very lovely. Breakfast was a great variety of options.
very nice bungalow with everything there ! compared to camping of course more expensive but compared to otter lodges in Kasane good price quality. very nice personeel. close to a gas station and a good supermarket
Sweet comfortable cabin and helpful reception. They helped us connect with local tour operators and their is a grocery store and good restaurant called Coffee Buzz nearby.
