Bad location, very noisy and very hot in the bedroom. No toilet paper. Breakfast was only a coffee and some bread not fresh. I booked 2 nights and I left before because I was feeling very bad! Staff doesn’t care about you.

Classy, charming, clean and safe accommodation near to the coach station (walking distance) and to the airport. The staff are suberb and speak english, so I would recommend this hotel for foreign customers. The location is in the midst of lively streets where you can find pretty much anything, but most importantly, currency exchange offices. A big plus is a spacious minibar/fridge.

Very lovely place. The owner of the hotel (her name is Margarita) takes care of the service and quality and makes sure that every guest is content. She was always available and has a great staff. The location is safe, the suburb is lovely for walking, sports, dining, chilling. The city center (main square: plaza 14 de septiembre) is easily reached by taxi or within a nice walk of 40 minutes. There aren't so many great hotels in Cochabamba, I can really recommend La Casa de Margarita and would return anytime.

Stayed at La Recoleta (Zona Norte) best part of town. Did not go south of the plaza where most complaints come from.
Visited Museo Los Portales and took cable car to Cristo de la Concordia ( a few inches taller than the one in Rio de Janeiro)

I like Cochabamba because of its climate. It is in a valley and the weather is the best in Bolivia during the summer months on this side of the Equator, the temperature doesn’t get over 80 degrees most days, no need for air conditioning! Flowered trees everywhere. It is an ideal place to scape the winter of the North. Also, the food is diverse and very economical. The fruit and vegetables grow abundantly in this part of the country.

It was a pleasant surprise - a city that exceeded my expectations! We ended up spending more time in this city than originally planned because we had something unexpected come up, and it was a pleasant surprise to get to spend more time in Cochabamba.

Our trip for vacations was very pleasant in Cochabamba, we were really coming from La Paz with inconveniences about the great height of that wonderful and beautiful city. And we found Cochabamba on a better scale for us, the weather and height were more pleasant. The people are very friendly and serve wonderfully well in museums and restaurants.
Very historic place with lots of patina, feels like living inside a museum. Ceiling has cracks and even some cement was coming down in the bathroom, which adds to the historic feel of the place. Equipment is a show, looks like luxurious technology from the early 70ties, some of the stuff is even working. Old light bulbs used, even the WiFi uses a historic security method (WEP). Friendly staff, good breakfast, all that in the very center of Cochabamba.
Best of all: the great view from over the city which is just timeless.

The staff was next level supportive! They were so friendly and helpful to get the best experience out of my visit to Cochabamba as a starting charangoplayer.
Little practical things: plug to charge phone in the garden close to the hammocks!!! Plug in the locker to store your precious stuff!!!
Location is really good aswell
One of the major advantages of the hotel is its location close to the town centre and the bus station. An easy 10 minute walk from the station on main roads (though keep the altitude in mind! For travellers, the staff are extremely friendly and have a translator in case your Spanish isn't great. Rooms are clean.
This homestay is the nicest place I've stayed in, in all of Colombia, Ecuador, Peru and Bolivia.
The is a shower curtain plus hot water from the sink to wash your hands.
Great big room with lots of natural light.
Netflix on the TV is an add benefit.
Camilia is very helpful and speaks perfect English.
The location is close to the airport.. just a short ride by taxi. I did not have any problem reaching the hotel even around midnight. As I had to reach the airport early the next morning, I requested an early breakfast and they arranged the same earlier than their normal hours, which was really nice.
Staying in Casa San Martin was great. The room were nicely decorated and very clean. The hotel itself was very quiet and cosy, with really nice and helpful personnel. The breakfast was very good with eggs made freshly in a way you like and cheese-tomato toast - simple but delicious.
Ambient was nice and clean. Staff was amicable and helpful. Price was very good given the carnival dates in Cochabamba. Area is surrounded by bars, a shopping mall, movie theater and nice restaurants.
Perfect hotel, extremely friendly and helpful host. Perfect location, close to the bus station and tram line. Everything for the affordable price. Recommend to everyone who wants to visit Cochabamba.
Well kept, clean and modern hotel near all. The room was spacious and clean, the bathroom was very nice too. Best of all, the staff was outstanding. Amazing breakfast with all possible options.
The hotel has a very pleasant and helpful staff. Excellent fresh juices and fruit selection in the buffet breakfast. Free use of several bikes. Position near Plaza de 14 Setiembre.
This hotel was one of the best hotels my partner and I have ever stayed in from the staff who where always nice the room was amazing and location was bang on
Bed was the most comfortable one so far in all Bolivia. Breakfast was great. Staff and the owner was the best. Definitely the best hostel I've stayed in.
