Rooms are spacious and clean, beds are comfortable, free parking and breakfast is included and the price is extremely competitive. Good location for small hotel. Breakfast was good. Property is decorated with lots of old antiques, sewing machines, furniture, etc. It feels a little old and dark. Plovdiv is a beautiful city, walkable (with hills), a lot of green spaces, interesting ancient and modern attractions, terrific restaurants / bars / cafes. It was named the Cultural Capital of Europe and walking through Plovdiv, it was easy to see why! We spent 6 nights and 5 days and covered almost all of the local sites - it could probably be done in 3 days / nights. However, we took our time and we will return again for some excellent Bulgarian hospitality. We had great meals at Pavaj close to Coco Guest Boutique hotel and at The Citizens Club in the old town. Both specialize in traditional Bulgarian food. Bunardzhik hill is worth visiting: walk up the road instead of the stairs, and ensure the look-off is “open”.

Amazing and modern city.
Amazing and modern city. One of the two real cities in Bulgaria (Burgas and Plovdiv). Plovdiv is must to visit in your live, as much as Athens, but is much more beautifull and full with atractions, concerts and art activities, with nice places to go and amazing coffees and restaurants.

Plovdiv has so much to offer, great bars and restaurants and of course it is stepped in history for thousands of years. The town has a fantastic atmosphere and it’s it so easy to move around as such a small city, you can easily be having lunch in old town and then taking coffe in a fashionable shop. Having breakfast in an amphitheater was just amazing. The Roman history is stunning as is the more recent…. Makes Sofia look dull

Interesting to see the Old Town and new town of Plovdiv.
Interesting to see the Old Town and new town of Plovdiv. Definitely need to make use of a walking tour to hear about the history etc especially the Ancient Stadium of Philipopolis which runs under the H & M store! We used Plovdiv Trips for two tours out of the City which was well worth it. Karmen and Stoyan were both excellent and knowledgeable guides. Plenty of good eating places and friendly

Plovdiv is beautiful!
Plovdiv is beautiful! Full of history, great nature, offers extensive entertainment and restaurant experiences, beautiful architecture, various museums and cultural events. Plovdiv represent the natural and historical beauty of Bulgaria in the best possible way!
Plenty of parking was available right outside the hotel on the street, for no charge.
The staff were very friendly, chatty and helpful, (this seems to be a thing in Bulgaria, as all the staff in all the hotels we visited were excellent).
Our room was very large.
The funky decor all over the hotel, including the bedrooms, was a refreshing change to the more usual reserved hotel style.
I liked the shower (powerful and hot), and the bed was the best on our trip - very large and extremely comfortable.
Amazing hotel! The best of the best! Amazing interior, fantastic rooms, but above all the staff is so friendly yet professional and helpful. This was our third stay for the past one year and Doubletree Plovdiv never disappoints! The hotel is ideally located between the old town and the center of the city, there are parking facilities. The spa is small yet clean and perfect for the concept of the hotel never crowded. But the staff... AMAZING people! Can't wait to stay there again.
Ivan prepares an excellent breakfast based around an innovative and artistic Bulgarian platter and a delicious egg dish. Y4Y has a nice shabby-chic design. Common area is nicely done. Room was comfortable with aircon essential (although this stopped working on our second night due to another guest causing a shut-down). Location is very handy for parking and also for access to restaurants and the Old Town
I loved the interior design of the entire hotel and my room as well, particularly the matching colors and patterns of the interior and the artistic decoration of the hallways and the staircase. My room was tiny, but perfectly designed for such size. I loved the way the shower and bathroom were integrated in the room with a glass wall. I rarely see such creativity and good taste in Bulgarian hotels.
Excellent family hotel in the old town of Plovdiv located conveniently at a picturesque square that is both quiet and only a few minutes walk from many of the places to visit. Clean and spacious room, great bathroom, nice breakfast. And most importantly the owner, Dimitar, is a great host that takes exceptional care for the comfort and wellbeing of the guests. Overall a great experience.
A gem of a hotel. Small, family run quirky hotel in a fantastic location in the old town. Owner lovely & very helpful despite our very limited Bulgarian. Nice size room & good size bathroom with hot shower. Our friends came by car & the secure parking was a real bonus. So near to everything - museums/ Roman ruins / bars & restaurants
Superb location, impeccably clean and perfect place to stay in Plovdiv. Staff were friendly and efficient and went way above to please. Front desk, restaurant and room staff were great at their jobs and made us feel welcome. Gluten free options for breakfast as well! The ratings on this hotel are well deserved.
this is a unique place - very modern and eclectic design combining nature with progress in a traditional house; I have neve seen so much luxurious amenities in a guest house and even in a pretentious 5 star hotel; very easy check in and check out, very clean, the host was welcoming and helpful
Top location on the main shopping street, just a few minutes from the old town, Kapana district and next to the Rome stadium.
Very clean. Rooms very well equiped for a 3 star hotel.
Cosy embient, small things and jestures of attitude such as welcome letter, water, free instant coffee and tea
It was a short stay, but even we have arrived late reception was manned (is not always the case in Bulgaria at hotels of this number of stars), the room was ok (a bit above the number o stars of the hotel), also they have private parking, even though are in "busy" area of town.
For business purposes the location is okay! Easy to reach from the highway, easy to find, easy to park.
The rooms are well kept, clean, comfy, and soundproof.
The restaurant dishes are delicious, good variety and good wines.
Breakfast is within the range of the hotel class.
Just perfect. Amazing view from the balcony. Close to restaurants in Kapana and the old town. Very clean. Comfortable furnitures and you have everything you need. One of the nicest apartments we stayed at in Bulgaria and comparable to other EU accommodations.
The staff is very friendly, polite and ready to help.
Rooms are clean

Safe location
If you want to park in front of the hotel, you need to pay the parking via SMS (if you have a bulgarian number) or from machine, which is not so near.
Excellent location of hotel , in the middle of the old town.Very good room , clean and with good facilities. The lady at the reception was extra kind and a great host. Car Parking was safe and well located close to the hotel.
Very centrally located hotel in Plovdiv! The facilities were clean and the hotel was also easy to find. The rooms were spacious and felt super clean as well. The bathroom was very modern, which we enjoyed.
the apartment and the bathroom especially. The room was extremally clean and the staff was extra kind.
the reception colleagues from other hand needs to improve. Not so flexible for 5 star hotel.
The staff is friendly and helpful. The service is very good. Our room was clean and comfortable. We recommend the hotel as a good starting point to visit the ancient and beautiful city of Plovdiv.
