The host was most welcoming and extremely helpful. The gite is situated in a quiet rural location with a few ponds just outside the front door. It is very well-appointed and spacious. The breakfast from the host was amazing and worth the extra euros.

Very nice, cozy, clean, in a small village so very peaceful. The heating was on, so it was nicely warm. Only about 15min drive from Bastogne. The owners are very nice, it's a pity that they only speak French. But they explain easily, slowly, they show everything, so it's not a problem. They live in the same house, so it was not a problem that we arrived later due to traffic jams. We were offered breakfast, but we didn't order one. There was a small welcome suprise, peanuts and candies, also coffee, tea, sugar at disposal, and kitchen well equipt. Towels, soup and shampoo also at disposal. We were very satisfied 🙂

It was absolutely beautiful both inside and out, tastefully decorated and so inviting. Very well designed, clean and comfortable. With a mini dishwasher, coffee machine, log burner (which we didn’t use because it was summer but I’m sure it would be so cozy in the winter), log fired hot tub and sauna and a lovely balcony to sit and relax in the quiet peaceful surroundings. We weren’t disturbed by the owners but they were responsive when I contacted them. I cannot fault this place at all and can’t recommend it enough. One of the most beautiful places that I’ve stayed in, you must go!

Size of the chateau is excellent, we ended up being a party of 12 so had a bedroom each.
Managed with the amount of bathrooms and toilets ok. We used the pool but didn't really use the games tables scattered about the chateau as we were out from morning till evening.
Cooking facilities where ok for our party size and we managed.
Noise didn't seem to be an issue as we ate in the garden and played music out there as well, we'll away from any other houses.
Would recommend the chateau as it catered for what we wanted and needed

The area is very panoramic and peaceful. We particularly liked that there are numerous walking tours well explained and of different length, also suitable for children. We found the whole area very nice for children and pubs and hotels usually have playgrounds. You can also take your dog, they are very open to accept dogs.
