I arrived very late and Lex stayed up and provided me with a larger room for extra comfort. He is a great host and chatted to me for quite awhile and we had a good chat over breakfast. As my meeting was not until lunchtime, he permitted me to stay and relax until I needed to go. Now that's personal service!

Kathy was beyond wonderful. She couldn't do enough for her guests and went the extra mile to help me out when I had a very bad reaction to some sort of insect bite I had picked up in France. The property is immaculately clean and the rooms spacious and very comfortable. There is a lovely garden you can relax in and enjoy. The breakfast was great. Just note the property is a bit isolated so plan your evenings accordingly. There are loads of restaurants in Ypres and some in the local villages.
