The downstairs area was lovely, clean tidy and fresh however the rooms upstairs need a serious refurbishment . The carpets are filthy, the paint is flaking off everywhere but the most annoying thing is that the doors need adjustment . You had to slam your bedroom door to get it to shut . Imagine if 20 other guests do the same to leave in the morning ! . Furthermore there were cob webs in the bedroom indicating a lack of cleaning.

Driving into Antwerpen center you can park dead spot underneath the square of the hotel. An elevator transfers you right into the lobby. Swift service at the reception. Spacious accommodation big room. Great facilities. The hotel oozes quality and old luxurious traveling. Excellent bar and breakfast.

The design & size.
The design of the room & lighting in the wardrobe is very functional.
The size of the room is great, same goes to the bed. Balcony was an unexpected bonus :)

Location was great with restaurants and amenities, it was value for money.
In the historical and cultural heart of Antwerp, the ibis offers functional accommodation with free WiFi and a cozy lounge bar. Meir Shopping District is just a 250-meters walk away.
The place is great. Its is very spacious. It had every basic thing needed. A well equipped kitchen .The owner Cedric was very kind and was always available whenever called for enquiry. The place is very close to the town just 5 minutes walk.
The price was reasonable even though there was a festival going on.
I would definitely recommend this place anytime better than a hotel.
