Not a bad place for a lot of people (3-12), athletes and so on in one room. But, there are many restrictions and a deposit of 50 euros for us, which was not returned for unexplained reasons.

The buildings and architecture reflect the age of the buildings, but the buildings have been well maintained.
The people are friendly, helpful and will assist the visitor in way they can.
The prices are moderate and so shopping and dining are first rate.

Geraardsbergen was a fantastic City, with wonderful sites and shopping.
The restaurants were all fantastic and really friendly, and not too expensive. That depended on what you wanted to eat and drink.
House is very close to downtown shopping and the train station. The kitchen was well equipped and we found all we needed. We enjoyed the charming city sights and the hike up the "Muur van Geraardsbergen" where we saw a panoramic view of the region. You can rent bicycles at the Gavers for a very fair price. Though we were there only four nights, this property would be suitable as a long stay accommodation with great train access to Brussels or Gent. Try Bistro André too, the food was fantastic!
I booked a 3 night stay to use as a base to watch the Tour of Flanders. The apartment was new and done to a very high standard. It had its own parking space and private entrance. Inside it had a large lounge/dining area, kitchenette and large double bedroom. The bathroom had a fantastic walk in shower. The location is in a quiet residential street outside of Geraardsbergen. You can walk into the town centre along the river.
Annelies, our host, was exceptionally responsive and attentive.
The location was perfect for cycling many of the iconic routes in Flanders, including the Muur van Geraardsbergen which is close by.
The accommodations were spacious, comfortable, and clean. A quaint farmhouse with lots of charm. We particularly enjoyed the fireplace after a long day.
An excellent stay. I would highly recommend.
The reception was super friendly and offered me advice on the local area. The hotel parking was adequate and easy to find. The single room was comfortable and the modern bathroom had been renovated. The breakfast was exceptional with fresh pastries, fruit, and eggs made to order! Would definitely return for a future visit.
The appartement lies in a neighbourhood which was quiet. It was still close to the shops in Nederboelare! Geraardsbergen is also just next doors. The hosts were very friendly. They have taken a lot of time to collect information about the surroundings (hikes and cycling routes), which is available in the appartement.
Excelletn staff, very helpfull, Hotel is clean and nice. Breakfast is amazing. Brasserie is super cool with nice dish and super portions. Christoff is a real nice guy how also did the half marathon as part of Challange Geraards. Amazing in one word
Very nice hotel with large comfortable room. Friendly and helpful staff. Really enjoyed the breakfast: fresh food, much variety, cosy space to enjoy breakfast and start of the day! 100% would recommend!
An exceptionally friendly and well-run place! Comfortable, great breakfast, very helpful staff. I'll definitely return to Hotel Grupello when I visit Geraardsbergen again!
