We staid for the weekend. It was so good, with the snow.
We staid for the weekend. It was so good, with the snow. Durbuy center is very small and you can go through it in half a day or 1 day even. Although if you like walks in the nature and other activities, like horse riding or kayaking, it is nice to enjoy even more, on a long weekend or so. Really good escape from our day to day routine.

Very beautiful ancient town with a castle.
Very beautiful ancient town with a castle. It was lovely to walk through the winding streets looking at the old shops selling local produce. Nice topiary garden with many trees cut into interesting shapes. Beautiful river and geological rock formations. Quite small and does not take long to walk around.

Durbuy is a wonderful town in a UNESCO global geopark region that’s well worth visiting. With a good mix of both old historic and sympathetically added modern properties it’s very much a tourist hot spot. For either the agile adventurous or just people watching from the many cafes, bars and restaurants.

A little medieval village from the XIV century,...
A little medieval village from the XIV century, representative of the area, laid down in a valley on the river bank. A picturesque view of a river, rocks, and a castle. It is called the smallest city that exists as its rights were gained in 1333 and the street structure with the layout dates from then.
What makes an impression is that all the houses are built from stones with thick walls and small windows. There are many good restaurants and nicely located terrasse to sit and relax at good food or coffee.
This place is amazing and beyond our expectations!! Go there! We wish we weren’t so far away in Ontario Canada (we were there first Canadians) as we would be spending weekends there watching their vision continue to come to life! From the easy key code entry, the rooms, the wellness spa and the over the top breakfast was all amazing! We wish you well on your business as you hit all the personal points so very well. It was great to meet you Bertrand and look forward to coming back some day.
The hostess was very friendly and informative. The grounds were beautiful, with lots of private space for guests to sit inside of the convent walls. Just outside of the gate were lots of restaurants and cafes to grab a bite or a drink. And Durbuy itself was amazing. The room had a sitting area with a great view of the grounds. The bathroom was very spacious, with a tub and, more important to me, a roomy walk-in shower. All in all, this was a great property.
Our room was clean and well decorated. The lounge was very cosy as well. Breakfast was excellent, offering a wide variety of fresh, locally sourced products. There was a spa room which you can use privately for an hour. It was also enjoyed to gaze around the property and look at their adorable farm animals. We didn’t meet the owners, but the staff who were there during our stay was very accommodating and friendly. 😊
The location was beautiful, inside the forest but a short driving distance to Durbuy and other interesting places in the area. You can also walk to Durbuy by foot (35 minutes).
There are numerous hiking and cycling trails.
The cabin was super clean and cosy, comfortable and very well equipped.
The cabin is located inside a park with extra services, Cafe's, swimming pool etc.
The staff was friendly and helpful during our stay and the facilities were overall good. The room and bathroom were spacious for 3 adults but we missed a few things. Overall, it was a good stay and we enjoyed it (location was also good given our weekend plans) but we did not feel the hotel/wellness was outstanding for the price. Some small things could have made a difference.
We had an amazing time in this home. The house and yard is amazing. Our daughter loved playing in the backyard and the swingset. There were also plenty of toys for her to play with. The home is in a beautiful area very close to Durbuy and it had everything we needed. The owner is very lovely and helpful. We would love to come back!
Great location for what we wanted, spacious villa clean and comfortable. In my opinion some interior items need updating but overall stay was good, would recommend.
The villa is in walking distance of the lovely town of Durbuy which offers good places to eat and drink.
Raphael was incredibly friendly and polite. He gave us a tour of the apartment. Stunning room with gorgeous bathroom. Bed was super comfortable and stunning views of the Durbuy rock wall.
The location in Durbuy was great as the hotel was close to all the attractions. The room was clean and the wifi was strong. It was helpful having the coffee maker in the room.
Wellness was wonderful. Clean and relaxing.
The restaurant and its food were very good. The people nice and hardworking.
The atmosphere was really the best.
So the location was really nice, no annoying neighbours, a lot of space around the house to get comfy.
The city of Durbuy is a nice place to travel to!
