Lovely place with a warm atmosphere.
The host was very helpful and kind, gave us suggestions and was also very nice when we asked for something more for our room.
The hotel is just outside Bruges but in can be easily reached by bus and the stop is just outside the hotel. For us it’s been great because we had our bicycles and every time we found a new different cycle path to go back and forth.

The staff were amazing and responded very quickly to anything we needed. The grounds are beautiful and the houses was redone very nicely. The toilets and showers were separate from the rooms but there was plenty of them and we never had to wait to use them. The rooms were very clean and cozy. Our dog was welcome and we always appreciate that. We had a wonderful stay in this beautiful setting. I will definitely be coming back for another visit.

This was a perfect overnight stop on the way from Dunkirk ferry port to the Netherlands. Not far from the main roads, but in a lovely quiet rural location next to a canal. Our hosts were very welcoming and spoke excellent English. We enjoyed having a drink at an outdoor table, watching the cyclists go by on the cycle lanes, and the food was great. Our room was comfortable and attractive, and had everything we needed, with a nice countryside view from the window. Breakfast was excellent, served at a set time with no choice except whether or not to have an egg, but everything that was brought to us was exactly what we would have chosen. Very cycle-friendly - we'd like to return on bikes one day!

The owners were so nice. They went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. They booked us tables at the local restaurants and even gave us a lift into town. They let us lock our bikes in their shed and gave us the means to wash them.

The property was amazing : big and comfortable, the garden is perfect with spaces and hammocks to relax. The room is 100% accessible, it was a pleasure going there. The lady who welcomed us was really nice and helping, she provided us lots of useful information ! The breakfast was amazing : there were fruits, different types of bread, yogurt, salty and sweet things.

Actually everything, especially the special care of the owner who made an effort to provide us the room at 2pm instead of 4pm because we needed to be able to refresh before to go to a wedding at 3pm. Thank you so much. It is much appreciated. The room is comfortable, the bed was excellent and so was the breakfast.
Such a beautiful part of the country. We loved bicycling around the countryside and taking our bikes into old town. The local walking tours were informative and interesting. It's a wonderful place to be!

Easy check in helpful host, everything you could possibly require, fantastic bistro extremely close, pub as part of the bistro with indoor smoking area for those who appertain, which is totally screened off, lovely castle round the corner.
A fantastic little find which is full of friendly people.

very charming very little place, excellent night illumination, some good restaurants and bars (but empty after 21:00), fabulous canals with very good biking facilities, close to Brugge and to the sea. beautiful night exhibition of old telephone cells which read you poems, houses full of little taken care of details, nice churches and some historical buildings

Damme is small and beautiful, and not far from Bruges and the coast. there are walks you can do along the canals, it's typical. Parking is free just outside the city (5 min walk to city center --> easy)

We thought it was a very quaint attractive small town .
We thought it was a very quaint attractive small town . However we did not spend too much time actually in Damme because we were attending the Vintage Car Rally / Concours d'Excellence in Knokke.
Location of the property is excellent, walking distance to golfcourse, beautiful surroundings, close to Damme, Bruges, Knokke and the coast.Charlotte is very hospitable and helps out with tips to make the most of your time.Provided us also with bicycles. There is easy and free parking, Good, very varied breakfast. Comfortable, clean, airy and beautiful room.
The village of Damme, near Bruges, was well dressed for the festive period and served by many restaurants. We recommend La Plancha!
The Gasthof was central and quirky. Robin was attentive and spoke some English. The bed was comfortable and the room warm.
Beautiful Hotel, full of original character and a beautiful orangery where we ate our delicious breakfast which was continental . Very good parking outside, lovely gardens , host was very friendly and accommodating, nothing was too much problem
Small but very cosy with comfortable bed and lovely bathroom! 10 minutes walk to restaurants in Damme (good and safe pavement). Brugge centrum approx. 10 minutes away by car.
