The room was clean and spacious for one person. There’s everything you need. The staff is exceptional, extremely friendly, available, responsive and meticulous. Absolutely recommend if you need to spend one night close to the airport. They also provide you with a shuttle service which just makes the whole experience more comfortable and stress free. I’d recommend it to solo travelers but also families with kids.

It felt very unsafe, even for Sunday, in the city center. We haven't seen any police or other public servants anywhere, the city is filled with people of all types and mainly poor people asking for money. Also, you could smell weed everywhere and rubbish. Broken bottles on the sidewalk, urine smell and a bad feel about the whole place. This is the city center. The whole impression is of a decaying city, unsafe and not that tourist friendly. Will probably never return.

the city is under construction works (obviously to have a better face in the future) but it doesn't seem the safest place to wonder on the streets..a lot of digging and broken streets due to the renovation works in the whole city..i wouldn't spend more than a day here

The town is well located for day trips to Bruxelles, Brugge and Luxembourg. Town itself has many little cafés and restaurants as well as popular chains. A nice warm shopping mall in the center. Extensive redevelopment going on everywhere (railway station and road junctions). Palais de Beaux Arts seemed firmly closed when I visited (a Saturday in January) despite many posters advertising it. I will come back, but when it's warmer.

Good point for accomodation and place near to Brussel (only 1 hour to Brussel centre by car or train) if you are planning to visit the capital city.

We had stayed in Charleroi many years ago, and found big changes. The bus Station at Charleroi Sud (now known as Charleroi Central is now very big) and is still under construction. Once finished the area will be lovely. There are lots of competitively priced accommodations to choose from. The public transport system is excellent from trams to buses to trains. Everyone is very friendly and going at Christmas was special. A couple of Christmas markets to see and the ice rink looked good fun. Since we last visited - several years ago - a shopping centre has been opened which has many shops to visit. It was decorated beautifully for Christmas - was lovely and warm and catered for everyone. I would say don’t use use Charleroi for passing through, spend at least a day and enjoy what it has to offer. We are locally and found the food very good and varied.
My go-to place for early morning flights out of Charleroi Airport. The location is really convenient - it is only a 5-minute walk from the railway station and the bus stop for the airport shuttle. The facilities are clean, however, don't forget to bring your own soap and towel. There are cookies, fruits and hot&soft drinks for those, who depart before breakfast is served (prior to 7 a.m.). The main breakfast is very simple, but it's a nice touch anyway.

I recommend ordering a taxi in time if going to the Charleroi Airport. It might take up to 15-20 min for a taxi to arrive at the hotel + 5 min until you reach the airport. Cost per solo traveler: 12 euros.
You will have at approx 2 km by walking, a commercial center from where you can shop for food/gifts etc.
We ordered a special breakfast ,with additional price of course ,and got a great tasty breakfast..
The owner is a very nice ,warm , welcoming and attentive person. He did everything he could in order that we would be happy and comfortable.
The hotel and rooms were very clean and beds were very comfortable. it was a few minutes driving from the airport terminal. We also got a free shuttle service to and from the airport.
The only advantage is that it is close to Charleroi airport. The staff does not handle the stress very good and the shuttle transport is cheaper than taxis, but the drivers are rude and careless. Both to arrive to and to leave the hotel the shuttle was late and one of the persons riding the taxi was almost ran over. Covid? What is that? the drivers of the shuttle never heard of it and they used no mask.
The room was flawless, clean and simple. There was even an extra bed. The bathroom and toilet are shared but it was quite clean. We stayed only one night but the room made us want to stay more, the neighborhood was calm and there is a big supermarket, a bakery and more you need. The host was also super kind and helped us to reach Charleroi airport. We'd definitely stay there for our next trip.
We spent just one night in this hotel because we had to go to the Charleroi airport very early in the morning. It's not a sophisticated hotel but it's very clean and very comfortable. The owner is one of the most kind person who i met in my life. He picked us up at the airport and he drove us in the morning at 4,30 am for free.
4 minute drive to Charleroi airport P2 parking, perfect for early morning flight. Bathroom had hand soap and shower gel and there was coffee in the kitchen—wonderful for those just spending the night for a flight! Hosts checked in to make sure we were settled in okay. Really close location to Brussels South Charleroi Airport. Keys in keybox with code, regulated heating inside, so it is warm at night. Good price/value for the night before flight if you looking for just bed. No problem with parking space at street. Small fridge, microwave oven, kettle and coffee machine.
The hotel is close to the airport and motorways, has a restaurant on site and the family rooms are big. The breakfast buffet is generous and the hotel offers a preferential tariff for airport parking. Overall, this is an excellent hotel for a family of four to stay prior to a flight from Charleroi.

We spent a night there due to our early flight on the next morning. Our stay completely matched our expectations. The hotel is super-close to the airport and thus one can go there by foot. Also we had a chance to leave our car there during our stay for a fair price.

A very well located hotel. We used the hotel for only one night because it was close to the Charleroi airport, but it could be a very good sooution for long time stays, as it is very modern, clean and in the hart of the city.
The hotel is located at a short distance from the railway station. We had a late check inn and the staff was pretty helpful. They provided an extra bed for my kid and even arranged for a public taxi to the airport.

Nice hotel if you have an early morning flight from Brussels Charleroi Airport. You can arrive, park your car, have a drink and sleep nice before tour flight. The hotel can arrange a cheap taxi for you.
The hotel is close both to the Charleroi South train station and the city center. Also, the transfer from/to the Charleroi airport is easy because the bus station is right in front of the hotel.
