Our stay didn't quite work out as planned, but great communication and alternative arrangements were more than adequate. High quality accommodation at a good price.

This hotel is in the process of refurbishment and is like an old manor house and my comments are in that context. We had originally booked a "comfort room " but it was unsuitable and we weren't prepared to stay in it. After a very helpful conversation with the receptionist, we were then offered two excellent options and she prepared the selected room for us. This changed our opinion of the hotel to 10/10. The hotel is in a very beautiful location. Our upgraded room had the most stunning view, wonderful huge bed and bathroom with all facilities.
