Directly opposite Wels Train Station, Boutique Hotel Adria is a 10-minute walk from the city centre. The restaurant serves Mediterranean and Croatian specialities and a wide selection of fish dishes.

The hotel is right next to a train station, which was very convenient for us. The area may seem noisy, but it's not at all. We had a good night's sleep, no traffic noise. Our room was quiet, clean, and cute, and the bed was comfortable. Super friendly staff. It was an excellent stay, actually.

Staff on reception and running the bar were incredibly helpful and friendly, I really appreciated their advice on the area too. The rooms were clean, the showers hot and the breakfast was full of choice. The location is really near the bustling bars and restaurants of Wels.

Hotel Alexandra, hotel in Wels

Located in a city-centre side street, just 200 metres from Wels Railway Station, Hotel Alexandra offers elegant rooms with spacious bathrooms, a restaurant and a massage service.

Me and my little family recently had the pleasure of staying in a penthouse in Split Croatia, and it was truly an unforgettable experience. The views from this penthouse is nothing short of breathtaking; every morning started with the stunning panorama of the Adriatic Sea, and the sunsets were equally spectacular. The host was exceptional, providing us with impeccable service and local insights that made our stay even more enjoyable. The penthouse itself was beautifully designed, offering luxurious comfort and all the amenities we could ask for. If you're looking for a top-notch stay in Croatia, this penthouse is an absolute gem. Highly recommended!

Wels is only 55,000 people but it feels like a much larger place in terms of what there is to see and do. It dates from the 1100s and there are many traces of the Roman occupation, with hundreds of beautiful old buildings, nice gardens, excellent restaurants and for those who are interested, shopping. There are hundreds of mles of bike oaths leading out into the countryside and more hiking possibilities than you could do in a month.

This little town is well located on the Austrian side of the German Austrian border. We chose Wels as our night stay town while travelling through Germany to Croatia. It is easy to get around, the city center offers many dining and shopping alternatives.

An old city with it's charme on some great places. Although, Wels has nothing special to see, you can do many things in the area. I would recommend to rent a car and visit the surroundings. I want to recommend the Gösser Bräu on Kaiser-Josef-Platz, it is really a good eat.

Wels is easily accessible on the main Vienna to Salzburg railway line. Good facilities in town for hotels and shops. The cities main attractions are the older parts of the town centre, the parks, walks by the river and small town atmosphere. A visit can be accomplished in less than a day.

Wels is a mix of the old and new.

Wels is a mix of the old and new. Big industrial centre but also historical aspects. Although a small historical centre the town has many charming features. Such as the castle,, Stadplatz, churches, multiculti restaurants and the Muehlbach river with its ducks and fish and clear pure water. Wels people are also very welcoming to strangers.

I have never been to a hotel more ofthen than this one. It is the best choice in Wels just because it's very clean, the location is central, the breakfast is delicious (you can't ask for more) and the stuff is nice. There is also a restaurant and a big terrace in case you want to eat lunch or dinner there. Always very busy, you need a reservation before you go. 😉
