Excellent breakfast. They have a restaurant. Staff are always friendly and helpful. Parking is available behind hotel, and one block away for overflow. Location is close (within 5-10 minutes walking) to the Lake, several additional restaurants, an ATM machine and other businesses. Also, the church where the wedding scene in the Sound of Music was filmed is just a 5-minute walk away.

Off season Mondsee looks like a huge house for elderly. Almost everything was closed, apart from a few restaurants in the middle of the city. Everything on the beach is closed from january to february.

Amazing location, beautiful nature, gorgeous lake and the mountains offered perfect walking tours. Local people were nice too :) The centre of the city is small and pretty, many pubs with great wine and food. The location as well as the nature were well taken care off and clean.
Totally worth visiting: Observation tower Kulmspitz
We will for sure come back to explore more.

We were before Christmas, and at this time it is definitely worth going to this city for half a day! The center is small, but very nice, there is a small Christmas market, mostly with food, a very beautiful Basilica, and of course, the lake itself deserves a walk to it. After a two-hour walk, a good lunch at a local cafe or right at the market, and here is the minimum plan completed! In the summer, for sure, the program will be different.

Mondsee is a pretty small town from which it is easy to explore the other lakes and towns in the Salzkammergut region. Highly recommend the Seecafe for its view right on the lake. There were many shops offering the traditional Austrian "Tracht," so if you've always wanted to buy a Dirndl, this is your big opportunity.

They have the best church around the area, St Gilgen, St Wolfgang, Bad Ischl, etc. we were there last Sunday of 2019 and there were choir singing and the sound of the huge organ above the main entrance is just so perfect. Very good mass I have ever experienced, so quiet and solemn. The town itself is small, no restaurants and shops open on a Sunday.
The apartment is very nice! I stayed for a week with my family and found it very practical.
The apartment is located in a very calm neighborhood with good car parking facilities in a garage. There is a super market within 100 meters and the lake can be reached within 10 mins by walk. The apartment has all the required furniture and utensils. Everything is clean and very well maintained.
Billy is a very nice host. She responds very quickly and made sure our stay was hassle free. I would definitely recommend the apartment!

The place is absolutely stunning, it actually cannot be described how beautiful the surroundings of Mondsee are, you simply have to see it. Moreover, the personnel is extremely kind and helpful, the rooms are sparkling clean, are well heated as for early autumn weather and have very comfortable bathrooms. The breakfast is fantastic, with lots of local products and variety of options for vegetarians and vegans. I would recommend it for everybody and surely will consider coming back.
This hotel had incredible views of Mondsee. It was also impeccably clean! The hotel has been newly renovated in a modern and sleek design. The food was incredible and they were very accommodating to our dietary needs. The generous breakfast spread was very tasty. The staff were incredibly nice and couldn’t do enough for us. The spa was very special on the top floor over looking the lake. This place was a little slice of paradise! Highly recommend- 10/10!
We really loved Mondsee for its quaintness and lack of big crowds. The apartment is ideally located where you can walk to just about anywhere in the city very easily. The room was spacious and clean an the the staff were very attentive and quick to respond to questions. The bed was comfortable and bath spacious. An external balcony with table/chairs was very nice. There is parking on-site but we opted to use the free parking a few blocks away.

We used the place as base for mountain hiking, quite a few nice tours available straight from the hotel.
The hotel has very well maintained bikes you can just take for the day. Very easy to get to the nice spots on Mondsee and Attersee.
Staff was very helpful. We rented 2 electric bikes and as the battery was only 60-70% they only charged for one. Was a detail and we did more than 40 km! I truly reccomend renting these electric bikes for a lake tour, THe whole place is fantastic and as a family-driven hotel we feel at home. Breakfasts were delicius and with a good variety of foods and of course eggs, variety of cheeses and vegetables and fruits!
This hotel is amazing! Perfection in every detail! Everything from the design and furniture to the bed linen, the softest pillows and the spa-shower in the room exceeds expectations! Breakfast was great! The hotel restaurant is Michelin rated and there is also a very nice bar. The hotel staff are very friendly and courteous. A beautiful house in a quiet picturesque countryside near the lake and the town of Mondsee, where the owners themselves live, and there are also several apartments for guests.
Friendly hosts, cozy house, everything is clean and new, comfortable kitchen, enough dishes and utensils, the quietest place, magnificent nature, half an hour drive from the center of Salzburg.
The location was perfect, beautiful view over the lake but only 5 minutes drive down to Mondsee. Judith and her family were so welcoming and made sure we had everything we needed, including fresh eggs and milk every day. The property was very clean and a great size!
