My mother grew up there, so it like a home to me. It is a beautiful place and the capital of Carinthia. There is so much to see, albeit you need a car for some things, and Italy is only 3 hours away.

I grew up in Klagenfurt and it's a super nice little City. I would recommend visiting in summer as the city itself could be a bit boring in winter. But there is much to see and do in winter around Klagenfurt itself.

This place is the fairy-tale. We visited the place because of Andrea Bocelli performance, but it deserves to be visited anyway. There I have got the faster and bigger recovering/recharging in my life.

Everything was in within walking distance.
Everything was in within walking distance. Shopping restaurants and bars on our doorstop. The apartment was of very high standard and will stay here again without any hesitation. Most friendly people and very helpful with our English language. The places we visited were exceptionally clean. The lake is approximately 20mins drive away and a must to visit. Will definately return to this beautiful part of Austria

Don't go there in summer months as no AC are in the rooms I was told. Only 1 fan per room in 36 degrees was a joke. Old and used up matraces; better to sleep on the floor. Price for 1 night worth there: max 50 eur.

Beautiful and historic small city in range of lots of ski resorts. Airport is only minutes away and quiet. Plenty of good restaurants and not expensive. Klagenfurt is a proud city full of culture. People are friendly and helpful. Accommodation is fairly priced.
Weekends can be quieter than you would expect in a city. Saturday is a half day for retail and Sunday, well almost everything is closed. This makes for nice relaxed family weekends.
A very beautiful hotel with modern, stylish rooms and a pleasant and helpful staff. The hotel is situated in a quieter part of the city, away from the center (near the lake), and offers plenty of free parking spaces. The internet in the room worked flawlessly. There was a wide selection of high-quality and fresh food for breakfast. I would be very happy to stay here again during my next visit to Klagenfurt.
I liked everything in the apart. We arrived at midnight, but we were able to do self check in it was a great opportunity. Location was just perfect, in innerstadt of Klagenfurt. It was really clean and bed was so comfortable! I had everything in bathroom and kitchen. It really deserves a 10 point. Also the room looked like exactly in the pictures.
The Hotel was perfectly clean and stylish. We came in at 2am and we had a very wonderful person helping us get everything sorted and even helped us get our luggage into the room. I had a special request of putting a few things into their kitchen freezer and he helped me with that too. overall a fabulous experience!
We loved everything about this place! Security, Location, the apartment is very clean and spacious and everything we needed was there..the self check in went smoothly...checking out went smoothly as well...I give this place 10 over 10. Now we know where to stay if we visit Klagenfurt again!!!
The experience in Jugend- und Familiengästehaus Klagenfurt was great. Everything was organized, cleaned, and well-maintained. At the check-in, the staff precisely explained all the details.
Finally, we appreciated the room setting and disposition and the breakfast service.
Excellent staff. They were extremely nice. We arrived late and despite this they welcomed us, allowed us to carry our bikes with us and even gave us a bigger room for the same price. The price is also very good compared to the rest of the places in Klagenfurt.
Nice spa with free tea and fruits, big and nicely furnished room with a comfortable bed, very good breakfast with a lot of vegetarian options, very fast elevators :-) We also liked it that it is a pet-friendly hotel – loved seeing so many dogs there!
The hosts were really nice, speak perfectly English, even invite us to their new years eve party. The apartment is well equipped, and really cosy. It's located in a quiet village 8 minutes from Klagenfurt. I can recommend it to everyone.
We stayed only one night but we have appreciated the quality og the restaurant of the hotel, that is placed in a wonderful place, on the hill above the city center of Klagenfurt. The room was comfortable, the place very quiet.
The hotel is small but in the perfect location just a minute from the old town and incredibly clean which is the most important. The staff is sympathetic and helpful. I highly recommend it for your stay in Klagenfurt.
