Gasthof Alpenrose, hotel in Imsterberg

Just 5 km from Imst, Gasthof Alpenrose offers free Wi-Fi and a balcony and flat-screen cable TV in every room. The Hochimst ski area is 10 km away, and the free ski bus stops right outside.

Booked a one night room for a bike trip. Had a terrible day on the bike under the storm so I arrived exhausted and soaked at the hotel. Reception speaks a bit of English, and was gentle, I left my bike in the breakfast room for the night, room was quite big, bathroom included, bed was comfy, TV, nice little garden to have a drink or just relax, and it's located within few houses, but I would say it's not even a village The hotel has not a restaurant, and nothing in the close area is available, but there is still a single meal available at the hotel (was rice and pork tenderloin with mushrooms). Breakfast is included, a bit light but anyway made the job.

Hotel zum Lamm, hotel in Imsterberg

This comfortable 3-star hotel in a Tyrolean style is set amidst an impressive Alpine landscape, only a few kilometres away from the A12 motorway.

The Hotel is on the edge of the town, there is off road parking available and this seems ample, albeit that it is not exclusive to the hotel, however it is free. The hotel has a bar and a restaurant the breakfast was plentiful and good and the staff were friendly and spoke excellent English. There is a lift from ground floor level {so there is no need to your luggage up what appear to be the entrance stairs, go around these to the ground floor entrance). There are beautiful mountain and rural views from the balconies.

Hotel Lammwirt, hotel in Imsterberg

Family-run since 3 generations, the Hotel Lammwirt in Jerzens in the Pitztal valley occupies a traditional Alpine-style building. It offers a spa area and fine local cuisine.

Very rural location in a small village, as you'd expect. My stay was superb and the staff are really nice and accomodating. To top it all off the hotel is a full service hotel with a proper restaurant.

Alpenrast Tyrol, hotel in Imsterberg

Decorated in a rustic alpine style, Alpenrast Tyrol in Mils bei Imst houses a restaurant with Austrian cuisine, a souvenir shop and a large garden with a children’s playground and a herbal garden.

The room was very clean and the bed was extremely comfortable. The people at the reception were extremely nice and the food was tasty, not expensive and in the big portions. Just remember to hang up the sign that you don't want to be disturbed if you wouldn't like the cleaning service to wake you up at around 9am.

Very nice area in the lap of nature. People staying around are really nice and helpful. Area is even connected via regional train station, just 2kms by walk and 3mins by car. Based on your interest and season you are visiting the place, there are many places around to visit and spend quality time with family n friends.

Imsterberg was a beautiful, quiet location. There was a small farm nearby with cows, goats and chickens. Lovely walks and a pretty Chapel, some houses had religious murals. The village was spotless and kept to a high standard. Local transport links were always on time.

This is an excellent place for people who like visiting the mountains! For people who love hiking, there are a lot of options (Hoch-Imst, Rosengartenslucht, Kids park, etc.) and also for people who do not like hiking (visit to innsbruck, Alpenthermen, shopping in Imst). Also for small children there are a lot of options (Hoch-Imst, Kids Park, Alpenthermen). But be sure you know how to drive in the mountains. The road to Imsterberg is small and steep.
