Absolutely stunning location. Can't really beat the views both in the day and stars at night. Gorgeous communal pool which was under used by guests. Great option of meals in the evenings with a rotating menu from different chefs. All served on a long table so you socialise with other guests. Loads of wines to chose from as well. You could add on activities like massages and horse riding. There were also quad bikes and electric mopeds you could borrow for free which were fun!

Excellent value-for-price
A nice, clean apartment with a lot of air and light, a huge porch and everything I needed, at the most afordable price in the region
Betiana was very helpful with my entrance, and in operating the stove0

The view at Hotel Cielo is spectacular, and the cold morning views of the mountains are special, but what they don't tell you about is the 24km of terrible bumpy rock roads to get to this remote location when the pavement ends. Gravel roads would be ok, but it is huge rocks that beat the crap out of our car. A truck is necessary to get here, and it is 45 minutes to 1.5 hour drive to everything. So after 6 days of being on these terrible roads every day, it was too much. Maybe 2 days or 3 days max. no more.
The facilities and the whole experience was outstanding. It is the perfect place for a couple getaway. The rooms is awesome and at nights they offer the best dinner in Argentina. Meals definitely represent Argentinean cuisine, asados are delicious. I can say I had the best meal ever when they cooked a tomahawk for our last meal. Finally I want to highlight the staff, great work guys, definitely you are the ones making Hotel de Cielo a huge success.
The hotel is perfect for 1 or 2 nights.
If you plan to stay more days, I suggest picking another hotel because the rooms are small, and the location is 1 hour from the bodegas.
I suggest staying 1 or 2 days relaxing at the hotel and enjoying the beautiful view! I love the lounge, the food, and the guests sit together for breakfast and dinner. It is a fantastic place!!!!
A quaint whitewashed cottage with rustic charm. Spotlessly clean and has everything you need for a short stay. Within a few minutes walk of Tupungato centre with restaurants and supermarket. Gianni is a friendly and helpful host. It’s definitely worth checking out the family winery next door - they have a small shop selling their wines and preserves.
Great place, vspectscular iew of the mountains, great rooms, grreat food and wine ... especially liked the concept of the "wine hotel", with de facto wine shop with excellent choice of Uco Valley wines within the property. Well positioned, a few minutes drive from some of the top local wineries, ideal place to explore the region
The hotel requires better management to implement basic hospitality features. The roof top, the pool area has no personality. The rooms are a bit like an american days inn - this has nothing to do with a Bonvoy. A huge capital injection is required to turn it around - overall a big zero.
A wonderful spot. Located in an area of vineyards. The hotel is very modern with excellent rooms and facilities. Breakfasts were both buffet and 'made to order' and were great. All the staff were friendly and accommodating.
Lots of quiet areas both inside and outside the hotel.
Great location in Valle de Uco, with lots os wineries nearby. The hotel is in the middle of a organic winery, with a great view of the vineyards. The bulding is brand new, modern and very clean. The staff is super helpfull, including the restaurant.
We enjoyed our one night stay in this B&B style basic hotel. It was a relaxed and pleasant stay, everything was provided, the looked after our car parked in the street nearby during the night. Wi-Fi was very fast as well. Staff was truly friendly.
I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough. It is one of the most beautiful places I have ever visited. Our room was spectacular with a glorious view of the mountains. Loved the restaurant and the amazing wine selection.
Great wine hotel to stay at. Staff were very helpful and attentive, especially Augustina. She was available and helpful throughout our stay. The cabin was very well kept and we enjoyed our stay there.
Everything. Fantastic location, comfortable cottages, amazing staff and delicious food. All this at a very reasonable price. It's the PERFECT place to base yourself for wine tasting in Tupungato
The host was amazing, always answering our questions and caring about our stay. The apartment is beatiful and the view from the balcony
is just outstanding. I HIGHLY recommend this place.
Hotel Chardonnay offers all you could reasonably ask for in a budget motel: clean, attractive, quiet, pleasant, helpful staff, good wifi, breakfast, ac, good plumbing...
