The staff is really friendly and accommodating. Room is small but comfortable.Lots of fruit at breakfast. Fresh cheese was not part of the initial breakfast offerings but a waiter offered some cuts to us which was awesome.

Tafi is very nice in summer to spend time with family, the weather is great to scape from hot summer. I strongly recommend to take horse back riding, visit Las Carreras restaurant and visit Parque de Los Meñires. I was here two times (at off season) before the Covid hiatus and I surprisingly found a very nice attitude in the local community and other travellers despite being high season . I should have booked two more extra days.

Tafi has a lot of places to visit and has wonderful weather. Do you like to go when the crowd is away? Then you won't have the greatest selection of restaurants and shops as they close when there aren't a lot of tourists. If you like the crowds, then you get a bigger selection of things to do

Beautiful setting.
Beautiful setting. I used public transportation to circuit the valley — Cerro Pelao. It was definitely a ‘connecting with the locals’ moment. I also used public transportation to visit Menhirs Provincial Park— a collection of stones carved by Tafi people.
We stayed here for 2 nights when travelling between the high Andes and Tucuman. A fantastic apartment. My wife wasn't feeling 100% - so this was such a comfortable place for her to get some sleep and recover. Well set up with kitchen, lounge, roof top terrace etc. Enjoyed walking into town and back (about 30 mins each way) and exploring the immediate area and the valley - especially the hummingbirds and burrowing owls. Friendly staff - especially with our limited Spanish.
Perfect place if looking for a modest place for low budget! The host is the nicest person!
It can be not enough in winter, considering the tough weather in Tafi del Valle, but definitely more than enough in autumn, spring and summer!
The hotel provides excellent value for the price. The bed was extremely comfortable, and the shower was fantastic. The breakfast was satisfactory, and the staff were very friendly.
