Special thank you to the people in the breakfast area!
The cook is fantastic . He is preparing a variety of hot food every day. The breakfast is full ( not continental). By the way, you can use the kitchen on your own, if you decided to cook something or just have a cup of tea or coffee any time during the day after the breakfast.Hotel also has the area, where people can use computer and rest on a very comfortable pillows in the same room.

Quite a pleasant place with lots of restaurants and museums...
Quite a pleasant place with lots of restaurants and museums of varying interest to outsiders. The National Museum is quite interesting. You can go on any number of outings. Armenia is a small country but old and very beautiful, and just about everything is accessible from Yerevan although I would recommend an overnight stay if you go to the south (Tatev). Lake Sevan can be visited on a one-day tour, but it is a nice place to spend the night. When in Yerevan, don't forget to go to At Artush, 20 Movses Khorenatsi for a good Armenian meal that will not hurt your wallet. Centrally located, not far from the French Embassy. Ask, he has just a small sign on the front.

Yerevan city center is much like any city center in Europe,...
Yerevan city center is much like any city center in Europe, but is quite small. The area that holds the museums, nicer restaurants, embassies etc. is really only about 2 km radiu7s area, maybe 2.5. Outside of that area, you are in a rough behind the wheel, Russophone, haphazardly organized post-Soviet city that is not comparable to Georgia other than some common foods and drinks. While Georgia has spent 30 years burnishing its European image and credentials, Armenia has not made the slightest attempt to do anything of the sort. The sights of Yerevan can be seen in a day, maybe with a few hours tacked on, thought there are excellent monasteries outside the city. Visit the genocide memorial if you have the stomach for it. I recommend Noravenk which is a two-hour drive away. Partly this monastery is gorgeous on its on, but it is also in the Areni wine country and you will see uniformed Russian peacekeepers buying wine at the local wineries like tourists. You will also see Armenian military convoys frequently, along with memorials to soldiers who have died fighting Azerbaijan over he last 40 years. Armenia basically views the Karabakh an subsequent conflicts as a continuation of the genocide.

Yerevan is beautiful old city.
Yerevan is beautiful old city. Its construction is a bit chaotic, so to find nice places you have to walk a lot, but it is an interesting challenge too. The food is great. I strongly recommend restaurant Urartu on Paroyan street, just in front of Konte, the old part of the city which probably will disappear soon. Vine "Armenia" is strongly recommended! The open marker "Vernisaz" is the best place for shopping of traditional jewellery, carpets, and tableware.
But when you visit the city, please, be careful, there are many scammers in the centre of the city. We were stolen by taxi driver that asked to change a note of 10000 in two of 5000, but after substituted the note of 10000 that I gave him by one of 1000. In the center, there walks a russian "guide" Olga (a slim old blond lady with a face full of wrinkles). She invited us for excursian and stole our money. So, be careful and only buy guides in official places. In general, normal armenians, are very nice and sympathics. Do not lose the opportunity to visit Opera theater. The quality of musicians, singers, and dancers is of high standard and the theater itself is very nice.

Everything was great, I really enjoy the day I stayed here.
Everything was great, I really enjoy the day I stayed here. The location was awesome - right in the center! Very clean property. I really like the staff they were all very friendly and professional.Looking forward to coming again))
First of all, the hotel is located in the best possible neighborhood ever. The area is a block away from the Republic Square. The hotel is in the center nevertheless it’s a very quiet, safe, clean neighborhood. This was our first time ever in Armenia and we are super satisfied by all means. I would like to send a super duper huge thanks to hotel stuff who were super friendly with us. The rooms are huge and fully equipped (even washing machine, Netflix tv and Armenian vine) and clean. Thank you! Teşekkürler! Shnorhakalut’yun!
It was really worth it. From affordability to accessibility. The accommodation was really nice and clean and have a great view of the city. It was located in the city center and the accessibility to the main touristic places were as easy as 15 min walk. I highty recommend to stay there and enjoy your trip.
Moreover, the host was really nice and trustworthy and kind.
It was an enjoyable experience and surely for my next trip to Yerevan, this property will be my first choice.
The place is very clean and the price is very reasonable and it is close to the city center, next to Vernasage and the staff are very helpful and friendly, especially Mrs. Melsida whom I thanks her very much , how I felt at home because of the cooperation and constant assistance even in asking about anything in the city, I wish to return to Armenia again to stay in this hotel. My thanks and regards to everyone in this wonderful place
The hotel is amazing. It’s super close to the city center. Every person in the hotel is nice and friendly. Also except Armenian they speak Russian and English. They make good breakfasts. All food is perfect especially really grate yummy cakes. Hotel is very clean. They do nice room service and clean rooms every day. Room has gorgeous view to Ararat. Shirak is one of the best hotels in Yerevan!
This is a brand new hotel, far from the city center which makes it really QUIET. I enjoyed the view to the older city part, so natural and cozy. Air conditioning worked fine, this is really important in Armenia. The bed was comfortable as well. There is a good grocery nearby working till late hours. I will come back for sure. Greetings to Ruben helping with a lot of stuff.
This is my best stay in Yerevan, we are travelers from Israel with two children. We had visited many places in Armenia with different stays, and our stay in 2×2 was the best. Amazing personnel, especially Nina and two other ladies, very tasty breakfast!! My next stays in Yerevan would be only in 2×2 hotel!!
Thank you very much....
I made a reservation at this hotel for my family, and they were extremely happy with the decision. The hotel is conveniently located near Republic Square, just a short 10-minute walk away. There are plenty of shopping centers and restaurants in the vicinity. The hotel's manager and staff were exceptionally friendly and welcoming.
It’s near republic square and the hotel is easy to find. The hotel is very clean and the receptionist is very accomodating and well spoken in english so communication wont be a problem. Breakfast is good and the working area is comfortable. Overall stay for me is 10/10, thank you for making our stay in Armenia Fun & Memorable.
The hotel is very clean, staff really friendly. They prepare excellent breakfast (also confirmed by our 3 children). It is located on the hill, with a view of the city. Taxi to city center is cheap (on arrival we bought their sim card and used Yandex application). Supermarket, bakery, coffee is 5 min walk a bit up the hill.
Typical city hotel with tiny lobby, ideal for several nights to get to know the city. The hotel is new, new facilities, new furniture etc. Perfect location, literally couple of steps from local pedestrian street and city center. Very kind staff (as almost everywhere in Yerevan). We got a room of higher class than booked.
Very clean hotel, the room was very quiet and close to the city center. Very friendly and helpful staff! In front of the hotel entrance are shops for fruit/vegetable, drinks and food, meat and grill. The shower in the bathroom is very powerful and good.
Its a lovely boutique hotel in the very centre of Yerevan right near the Republic Square. Its for those travelers who want something different and authentic. There is a carpet shop next door with absolutely gorgeous hand-made Armenian carpets
the location was very good. In the city center near the main streets and famous restaurants for tourists.
we had been there for our honey moon and the hotel surprised us with a free bottle of wine in the room, which was so kind of them.
Clean, well sized rooms and prompt service.
In the city center and close to most tourist areas.
Reception and hotel staff were very helpful and super professional.
Breakfasts were very good too!
Highly recommend
Hotel is located very close to city center.
Pool is very nice, with dedicated place for kids.
Pool was the main reason we picked that hotel.
Bar is 24/7 and barmin was a nice guy )
Very good location, near the city center. The staff is great, very open and polite. Parking is available near the hotel doors. Room was clean, breakfast was tasty and served in time
Good hotel, helpful staff, great spa center and massages. Convenient location for both city center and convention center nearby. Bar works till 4am, which is great but dangerous :)
Very nice place in the city center, freindly stuff, very good breakfast and clean rooms. Recomnded this hotel for everyone who wants to see Yerevan and stay in good safe place
