Absolutely gorgeous place, it's a European hidden gem! Not too crowded and a super relaxed atmosphere. Really cheap and budget friendly but high quality experience. Steak, seafood and cocktails for a small price. Locals were so friendly and helped us with everything.

the town itself is nothing special but has a good choice of bars & restaurants. we used it as a base for visiting butrint archaeological park (highly recommended) & for a day trip to corfu by ferry (good, but too much time is waisted at passport control on the corfu side... 1 & a half hours on arrival and an hour on departure!)

We were there early June and the traffic is chaos and parking exceptionally hard to find, fortunately our hotel had parking, beaches were OK mostly private and sunbeds and an umbrella was 10 euros a day

Saranda is a nice town with a beach and walks.
Saranda is a nice town with a beach and walks. There are nice restaurants on the promenade and also dotted around. The people are very friendly. Due to ongoing maintenance work on footpaths it may not be easy for people with mobility issues to get around - missing stones, uneven surfaces and high steps on parts. There's a limited bus service locally ksamil and butrint and 1 to gjirokastel but last return is 1.45pm. this may change in high season and as tourism picks up. There are plenty taxis available.

A perfect town for relaxing, and walks in the sunset on the promenade or a drink on the fort, overlooking the town. Also, the Butrint National Park offers a few or more hours of walking through the laurel and olive woods, where history can be discovered at your own pace while having a picnic on the provided wooden benches and tables. For beach lovers, Saranda offers plenty of beaches, and 20 minutes from Saranda, you can also visit Ksamil, with turquoise water.
The location is very good indeed. A couple of minutes to the beach, supermarkets, restaurants and very important, Bus terminal just around the corner. Very convenient if you travel using local buses. The room was very spacious, great bed and bathroom. And even a fridge, which it’s not mentioned in the room description, and for me is definitely a MUST. The owner very polite, friendly and helpful. I got really impressed with him. Staff very attentive. Definitely a Hotel to recommend. I will stay again when in Saranda!
The breakfast had variety of food and nice cappuccino. The hotel was spotless, very clean room and bathroom and Comfortable bed. The garden 🪴 was amazing , staying and having a drink after a long day in Saranda, totally relax. The owner was very helpful and answer all our questions.A lot of parking spaces and safe place to be with your family. A lot of places to visit as Blue eye, Lekursi castle, Butrinti park .Iwould recommend staying Green Garden vila to everyone. I can't wait to come back.
Very comfortable villa with a balcony to chill out. The beach down the street is nice, however this place is perfect if you want to spend a day or two in Ksamil as it's right in the entrance of Saranda, so just 15min drive to Ksamil (and also 15min drive to downtown Saranda). Hosts are fantastic, they drove us to the port to get the ferry to Corfu and also allowed us to leave our car parked at the hotel for 3 days while we were in Corfu.
The beach is literally 10 meters from the apartment. The host was very friendly and helpful. This was the best location we have stayed in Saranda. Close to the beach, also close to the best restaurants, bars and clubs. No hill to climb to get to the apartment so thats a good bonus for me and my husband. Also I recommend if you dont have a car, its 3 min walking distance from promenade. Traffic can get a little bit intense in Saranda
The three of us spent four nights at Hotel Lidi in Saranda and were absolutely thrilled. After a long and tiring journey, we received a very warm and courteous welcome. The kind and helpful staff, who pays attention to every little detail and prepares the most excellent homemade breakfast, exceeded all our expectations. If we ever were to visit Saranda again, we would definitely return to Hotel Lidi. Highly recommended!
Probably the best place to stay for couples and families in Saranda. This is a beautiful, nicely decorated and very comfortable apartment with 2 bedrooms and quite spacious living room, well equipped kitchen, nice bathroom and a wonderful ocean view. It's actually centrally located, 2 minutes from the ferry to Corfu. The staff and the host were beautifully kind and helpful. Highly recommend 👌
As soon as I arrived, i realized i had found the perfect place to stay. The hosts were very kind and friendly and always ready to help. They made sure i was comfortable. The apartment was very clean and had everything i needed. The view was breathtaking. I’m very happy i found this place and it will be my destination whenever i’ll be in Saranda that’s for sure. 10/10 would recommand
Nice small/affordale family owned and run hotel. Stayed here July 9 to 16. My family enjoyed our stay at Julia's. Rooms are good size, and some second floor rooms have a seaview. Breakfast is included and is very good. The owners are very friendly and will try their best to make your stay enjoyable and will give you ideas of places to eat or hangout in Saranda if you ask them.
The whole experience was just perfect! It was really close to the beach and everything was around there, buses, markets and shops. The family that manages the place are very kind and friendly and always ready to help us in every little detail. The parking was spacious and always available (very rear and expensive in saranda). Also everything was very clean in the apartment.
If you are staying in Saranda this is the best hotel ever. The host (Elvis) is the best host I’ve ever met, he is really friendly, helps his clients feel at ease & makes you discover the whole city. All the guests of the hotel felt at home in this place. So if you are visiting Saranda & looking for a place to stay, Villa Kanina is the best choice you can make.

awesome location right at the ferry port, literally 30 seconds walk. easy to walk to the seafront promenade and many of the choices in Saranda. plenty of taxis and bus stop at the end of the street. so easy. lovely breakfast amazing staff, amazing room with lovely view. so new and modern, great wifi too!
We had a beautiful room with a sea view. The staff was very warm and helped us in every way they could to make our stay very comfortable. Highly recommended!
Just one thing to note, the hotel is a 6-7 minute drive from Saranda boulevard, but taxis are always available hence commute will not be an issue.
We stayed at Hotel Gjika for few days and we are really happy for being there. We loved the view! We loved the kindest of Vani. He was helping us a lot in a time we got sick. If you need a place in Saranda, go there. We really felt welcome.

Best place to stay in Saranda, cosy hotel just above the beach, the staff excellent (receptionist is very sweet girl) and the room full insolated from the outside noise. As central as it could be. Familiar and comfy. What a great finding.
it's the second time we have stayed here and everything was great. The host even let me have an early check in at 11 although the check in was at 2 which was really much appreciated because I arrived early in Saranda.
