Comfortable apartment with large rooms and good a/c in the bedrooms. Nice sitting out areas although lush vegetation encouraged biting insects! Location is quite central on the island and although DJM Mini Mart is walkable (during daylight hours at least) a car is highly recommended. We tried Darkwood Bay but much preferred the more relaxed approach at Long Bay Beach (20 minute drive and roads generally excellent) where the swimming was superb. Also recommend a visit to the Museum of Antigua and Barbuda in St. Johns and to Betty's Hope plantation museum while you are on the island.

Excellent Hotel/Resort . Absolutely amazing . We were treated so well by all staff members . Wesley went above and beyond for us. A true professional and the personality of a star. None of the menus were to my liking and satisfaction, therefore. I never dined or had room service at the hotel. The place was outdated/old fashioned, no television in the room or lobby, no form of in house entertainment and the telephone in the room was not working.

It is a quiet and relaxing area, if you are renting a car. Keep in mind that restaurants and supermarkets are not close, so plan in advance. Moris bay beach is just a minute drive, and it is beautiful. The preperty is located between a mountain and a mangrove, and they have a boardwalk through the mangrove to the nearby bay. It is really beautiful, but do not forget your bugspray amd take the key from reception, as there is a gate.

The location was in a quiet residential area. The home cooked food was excellent and Sharon opened the kitchen that was supposed to be closed for 4 hungry travellers. The Chef cooked us a great home cooked dinner and we were so grateful. It was very clean, had a working air conditioner if we had needed it and a quiet fridge which was great. They allow pets, which is rare.
