The hotel provides a solid stay, but the breakfast options are quite basic and could benefit from greater variety to better start the day.

It was a lovely hotel with beautiful views. The staff were friendly and there was a lovely spa..and a bowling bar which was a lot of fun.
Xalet Besolí is located only 10 km from Andorra la Vella and the Termal Center Caldea, and 500 metres from the ski lift of Pal - Arinsal. Comapedrosa Nature Reserve is around 5 minutes' drive away.

Family ski trip with a 8 and 6 year old.
The resort is very good for beginners and intermediates.
Everyone working here in all areas seemed friendly.
We all had ski school which was all at the same time and oddly morning four hours lessons were split to 09:00-12:00 and 15:00-16:00. This meant a lot of time was wasted dropping off kids and getting to lessons/waiting for people to arrive as it was twice per day. And we couldn't really go do anything else if we wanted to attend the afternoon hour lesson. Our instructors were all very good during the lessons though.
We also paid for lockers at the top of the gondola but they didn't open till 15 minutes before lessons started 5 minutes away, resulting in a mad rush of lots of people trying to get ski boots on in a small space all at the same time.
The resort was not that busy when we were there, but the bars/restaurants on the slopes filled very quickly and it was often a wait to get a table for lunch.
Facilities were all pretty good otherwise.

Great resort for skiing at a beginner/intermediate level.
Great resort for skiing at a beginner/intermediate level. Beginners will blossom with fantastic ski schools. Intermediates can ski in Arinsal and take the gondola across to Pal on the other side of the mountain so more choice of skiing. Great bars and food in the restaurants is excellent. And super value for money compared to Other ski resorts.
Highly recommend.

a great family ski destination.
a great family ski destination. Instructors great with children. Pistes varied and very suitable for beginners... children
and adults alike. Challenging enough for seasoned skiers who have left their children with the ski school. Good red runs and a black run in Arinsal plus plenty to go at in Pal. Good choice of eating places...La Tosco and the good food factory.

I went for ski and it worked fine.
I went for ski and it worked fine. I liked the way the crew members helped. The tracks were for different skiing skills with great views. I also tried the Pal sector and it was also great.
The number of restaurant choices is good.
Some places in Arinsal you need to walk in the streets as there is no pavement and I looked for a Pharmacy during the night and I could not find one.

We originally stayed in Arinsal to climb the peaks in 1983...
We originally stayed in Arinsal to climb the peaks in 1983 before the ski development. We have seen many changes since then and not all of it to our liking. The roads are very busy due to the car ownership being so high in Andorra. We would like to see Andorra develop more along the lines of Austria and Bavaria with more development of buses providing transport to the start and end of hill walks. The bus network is actually quiet good but the timetables need more structure around timings, and either subsidised or week long bus passes would be a big help. And bus stops being marked on the maps to the area.
Amazing...never expected to be so good and lovely.
Great team that works in the hotel.
Always giving the best for a great and super stay.
Everything clean, Everything relaxing, without noise, nice breakfast, nice dinners, very good coffe..free parking.
And i really loved the way that they treat my puppy/daughter.
Thank you very much at all and special to one person.
who knows who she is

Location is perfect! We had a view on the waterfall with horses grazing below it. Parking is for free and huge and you can start some of the hikes right from the hotel. I think this is absolutely the best price/performance ratio accommodations in Andorra. Breakfast was very good. It was in a form of an open bar with various warm and cold meals - mostly English breakfast style with some traditional Spanish dishes.
All was good! The location is good if you like this direction. There are scenic spots and hiking trails nearby. During the period in which we were vacationing (May), there were few people at the hotel and it was very quiet. The staff is good-natured. The breakfast is good (we can highly recommend it).
It was a truly lovely respite to stay with the hotel. The staff could not have been nicer or more helpful. The room was comfortable and had a beautiful view. The Spa staff were great and I had an excellent massage. the village is small and pleasant even in off season.
I did prepare my breakfast by myself. It's easy and use a little of time to do it. The room is great and big and very clean.
We like to find place that close to the place for dinner because sometime hard to find car park if we go to the town.
The location for skiing in Arinsal is perfect. 50 meters from the lift up to the resort. The restaurant and bar ‘El Cabin” is very good and the staff are great. The apartment itself is basic but perfect for the money we paid.
Excellent room, great breakfast, kind and polite staff. The hotel's location is also very good, walking distance from pubs, bars and right on the bus line.
