Is hard to say what is not to like. From the check in to check out, everything went smoothly, as expected. Many thanks to the cleaners who attended my room more often than expected. The breakfast was diverse and with good quality items. I really enjoyed virsli and a good coffee. The restaurant on site is amazing and the service is always perfect. Great team!

I came with my husband and 2 children on a roadtrip through Romania. Marylou was a fantastic place to stay in. It deserves all the best grades. Breakfast was diverse and fresh and tasty. Location as well. Walking distance from the main attraction, fortress. It was comfortable, clean and the staff was polite and welcoming.

hotel in the center of the city, the room is nice, big, we were accommodated in a 4* one bedroom suite, there was a poor selection of food for breakfast

Set in the old centre of Alba Iulia, in a historical palace inside the Alba Carolina Fortress, Hotel Medieval offers elegant accommodation with classical-style furniture, as well as free parking on site. It was extremely clean and beautifully maintained. The rooms were roomy and beautifully decorated.

The design of the hotel was very nice
Though arriving in Alba Iulia with quite high expectations after seeing the fotos of the apartment we were still positively surprised. The apartment is absolutely gorgeous, very well designed, super clean and equipped with everything one could possibly need (I guess the kitchen is better equipped than my kitchen at home!). The host was super friendly and gave all the necessary information. We loved all the little details. Great place to stay while visiting Alba Iulia and the surrounding area.
Lovely place, interior design is very nice! Bathroom is big and bright we loved all the old beams around. Kitchen is well equipped , the small garden is absolute lovely too.
The apartment and the whole building look great. Beautiful interior design, lovely 1st floor terrace, all the necessary amenities, convenient location, close to the First Gate of the Fortress.
The host is very polite, nice and helpful. If you need something, just ask the host, they will help you. The flat is designed with a good taste and very clean. I really like the location of the flat, it is very close to Boulevard and the Citadel. It's quite quiet area even if the flat is located next to the playground. Highly recommend!!!
We were pleasantly surprised by this hotel. The rooms were specious, very clean, nicely designed and had an air of quality to them. The staff was exceptionally kind both in the hotel itself and the restaurant. They also offer good bikes for rent for fair prices, which was an amazing to explore the medieval city. There was free parking on the premise.
