We stayed in the cottage and It was sooo nice to have a place that was SO clean, spacious and beautiful! We stayed in Ireland 10 nights at 9 different places and this one was THE BEST!

An elegant 18th century property set in the historic town of Trim, Highfield House Guesthouse offers all guests free Wi-Fi access. The Highfield is an older building that is filled with charm. It is close to the castle and the Boyne River and walk. The hostess was great.

We were given a room upgrade to avoid potential noise from a wedding party which was very thoughtful. Beautiful settings all very well maintained. Excellent breakfast.

We had only one night in the Dublin area because of a change in our flight schedule. We decided to spend 12 hours at the Ashbourne House Hotel and we were very glad we did. There was a short and cheap bus ride to and from the airport to Ashbourne, or you can use Uber for around 50 euros. The town of Ashbourne is quiet and clean and the hotel is very nice. The food in the restaurant and the service in the bar are both excellent. We recommend this hotel highly.
