The famous monastery of Glendalough is just 15 minutes’ drive away. Great value and, especially, by current Irish standards. Huge guest house, may be the biggest in the world !? Lovely breakfast. Lovely hostess. Large room. Everything needed was close by.
Enniskerry
This beautiful country-house hotel on the edge of Enniskerry features spacious rooms and seasonal cuisine, 5 minutes’ walk from Powerscourt House and Gardens. Dublin can be reached in a 30-minute drive. We liked everything. We were very happy with our room and the entire facility. We dined at the hotel and the manager set up special accommodation's for us to eat in a cozy room near a fireplace, which was just superb. The food was good, the dining staff very attentive.
Aughrim

Free WiFi is available throughout. The property is beautiful - the backyard has more of a country-garden feel. The restaurants have wonderful garden-to-table organic food and it’s fabulous! Breakfast is included - just make sure to get your reservations early because the restaurants fill up. The front desk can help you with just about anything - they’re lovely! The pools are beautiful and the spa massage I had was one of the best. Also make sure to go see Catherine at Shekina Sculpture Garden not too far away - Catherine is a gem (an encourager of noticing beauty in her garden and in life).

The traditional Gold Mines Bar has live music every night during summer months, including traditional Irish nights. The award-winning Redmond Restaurant serves both modern and traditional Irish cuisine alongside an extensive range of wines. Friendly staff, tasty food and huge drinks selection (beers, cider and whiskey). They were very accommodating when we arrived late and put dinner away for us.

Built in 1883 and located on an oak-lined avenue, Tinakilly House is a 4-star Victorian mansion set in 7 acres of landscaped gardens with stunning views overlooking the Irish sea. Tinakilly Hotel offers traditional bedrooms with satellite TV, bathrobes and tea/coffee. Back here 2 years after our wedding absolutely gorgeous

At Lynham’s you can experience a relaxed, traditional atmosphere and luxury facilities. The property has its own traditional Irish pub, established in 1776. With its open fire and extensive ales selection, it's the perfect place to unwind after a day in the Wicklow Mountains. The staff was so friendly and helpful. The food was great and so was the the pub!

Newtown Mount Kennedy

The hotel is 4.4 km from the Druids Glen Golf Club whilst the Glenroe Open Farm, a 10-minute drive away, is a great family attraction. Stunning countryside walks and fishing are both available nearby.

Room was beautiful, with great fridge, bed very comfortable. Staff throughout the hotel were very friendly and extremely well trained in their departments The Bar was very nice a cosy. Interior designer did an excellent for the whole hotel. Main restaurant has a great atmosphere to it.

Gorgeous bnb, so comfortable and really lovely breakfast. Loads of room in the bedroom and massive bathroom. Shower was brilliant too. Highly recommend.
Location is perfect if you are looking for a lovely chilled few days away. We only stayed one night but would have loved to have stayed more. We stayed in one of the pods with a sea view which was absolutely stunning. It was spotless clean with everything you need for an overnight stay.
The staff were lovely, the room was very spacious and the stunning bath tub was a bonus for chill relaxation! Location was great, decor was lovely around the hotel
Lovely helpful people, quiet location yet plenty to do in an area of outstanding beauty. The breakfast was excellent. Locally, Avondale house and the treetop walk is a must see. We saw it on a rainy, misty day. On a lovely day it would be stunning!

Beautiful property in idyllic location. Fabulous home cooked breakfast with nice varied selection. Bedroom lovely and comfortable with spectacular scenic views and designated trails down to the river. Niamh was a lovely welcoming host with lovely staff.
A lovely boutique hotel is a brilliant location, food was gorgeous, especially the breakfast which was delicious and my 3 children loved their pancakes. The staff were friendly and very helpful, especially Raj who accommodated our last minute changes and made us very welcome. Would recommend and will definitely be visiting again 👍
