The restaurant has kept the church's stained glass windows and its timber-framed roof. I booked this property because I was trying to avoid driving and parking in a large city. I honestly didn't expect it to be very nice as it was the least expensive hotel we stayed in during our visit to Ireland. I loved that the hotel was out in the countryside and there was plenty of parking. Every staff member we met was friendly and welcoming. We arrived just before dinner and the desk agent offered to book a table in the restaurant for us. She assured me that we would love it and we did. Our waiter was charming and our dinner was delicious and reasonably priced. The restaurant was very busy and it looked like it was a popular choice with the locals. Our room was large and it was very clean, modern and quiet. The bathroom was great with lots of counter space and good lighting. Breakfast was very nice with many options to pick from including several items that were prepared to order. Overall, the hotel was a great choice and a great value.
